It's just infuriating to see all the work towards restoring 2007 Runescape go to waste with all these updates. They are defeating the whole purpose of osrs because these are the exact updates which set into motion the introduction of new runescape and rs3. Next thing you know we will start having polls dealing with PKing and graphics, which are things that were supposed to be avoided. Stop this and just leave 2007 Runescape the way it was supposed to be, it's infuriating.

The whole purpose was to go back to the old combat system and go our own direction with how we think the game should be. I don't understand why everyone starts having a tantrum when an update they don't want is likely to be added.
We are voting as a community, but it seems there are a few people who like to wee and moan whenever they get a chance.

Vote yes for the Grand Exchange, alot more great updates will be possible after it has been introduced to the game. Don't be afraid of the change, it's only for the better.

For those that say it's not old school, well guess what.. Corporeal Beast is 2008, G.E is 2007.

The main reason players left RS3 is to escape such systems and to get that nostalgic feel of the golden era of the game before all the new changes that drove players away.

Let's not generalize, seeing as how there are players like myself who left Runescape 3 purely because of conflicts with the combat system - not due to pure nostalgia.

Question 1: "Should we introduce the Grand Exchange? The trading post would be removed and replaced with a Grand Exchange building north-west of Varrock."

So jagex, you already ****** up already with this poll, since like you said, the location or how it will work would be in a later poll, you shouldn't have added the "it will be added to varrock" to it. People are voting no simply because of that specific sentence. So the question should have just been "Should we introduce the grand exchange? The actual building will be polled in a later poll" or something to that effect.

One question I would have for anyone with the ability to answer it would be: Assuming the poll regarding the Grand Exchange is passed, what sort of features would be polled at a later date?

A few suggestions that come to mind for me would be:

- As stated previously, possible restrictions on access to the Grand Exchange (Total Level [Which is tricky for Pures or Skilling accounts] / Hours Played / Ect.. ).

-
Imposing some form of Tax or Fee for each purchase or sale when using the Grand Exchange. That way it is still favorable to meet up in person, and players in some form or another pay for the ease of use the Grand Exchange provides. This way it is available to those who wish to use it, and players can still trade in person if they choose to save some money. Perhaps something along the lines of 2-3 percent of the total value of the trade on both the buyer, and seller.

- Location of the Grand Exchange itself, whether it is only in one set location or based in one, with several outlets spread throughout the game.

- Addition of the Grand Exchange portion to the Old School website (although some may argue it is unnecessary it still can help buyers make educated decisions.

- Restrictions on sales / purchases per hour (specifics)

-
(Builds off Second point) Possibility to see who exactly sells / buys what amounts, when you have selected an item on the Grand Exchange. Perhaps the ability to click a tab, to cycle to another tab which shows a screen similar to the Trading Post. If implemented in accordance to the Tax / Fee suggestion, it would be beneficial (monetary wise) to still meet with that person to avoid the Grand Exchange fee.

I would just like to know what exactly is being polled after, assuming that the initial Grand Exchange poll passes, and figured that I might as well throw a few suggestions in there.
