Forgive me but wasn't the whole point of reviving old school Runescape having that nostalgic feeling of 2007 Runescape before all of the big updates were put into effect? Old Runescape revolves around free market and being able to set your own prices. If we keep initiating all of these new updates into old Runescape, it will inevitably transform into the garbage we see today on rs3. I thought this is what we wanted to avoid?

Sad to admit it but No is losing ground. I don't think we can hold GE back..... Was nice playing like this. Don't know if I'll extend my membership after this. Shocking how many people prefer easyscape over big part of osrs. Sad just sad. Way to ruin it for people that actually enjoy trading like this. Laziness is all this is.

Shame you went full force with the awful grand exchange. Those trading post changes look wonderful and would solve any trading problems without opening the floodgates to the grand exchange.

Well, if it passes, at least I won't have to spend money on Runescape anymore. I'm not watching it die twice.

Yah im kind of upset as well.

A long time ago when OSRS was first being released, I actually made a thread which deals with how OSRS will change with a ton of updates that wernet in 2007.

In this thread I said that a couple of poll votes for OSRS may not seem like a big deal but a bunch small updates add up and eventually OSRS will get to a point where its not recognizable from the original 2007 game.

Guess what? The J Mod With The Goblin Face Avatar told me I was wrong on the first page. But I know better and I still believe this is what Old School's future will be. This game is destined to fall because people want updates to old school but eventually it will get to a point where players are mad because the feeling of old school is gone. It's a no-win situation. At least it will be this way eventually...
