Can we have a coin share or loot share with ge then? Just poll it because its been years and let the poll decide, our minds have changed and if the poll don't pass then fair enough, I'll just scam pvm bosses for revenge.

Not scam but not split loot since people with big loots didn't split with me and turn off their private

ShardShare needs no ge or price guide to work.

@Mod Ash @ Co.
I'm watching the stream you mentioned, and we would all like you to outline the rule as per it's actual status up until this point. Many of us feel there should have been some kind of warning prior to this.

Can anyone please comment on this so we have at least some kind of understanding about this?

They stated when they released it that any exploits found by anyone that weren't immediately handed in would result in either a ban or demotion. They actually stated it multiple times. Everyone was warned months ago.

Have Jagex staff not been aware of this issue for quite some time though? From my understanding, they have actually had time to program some changes into the game to the way shops work, and not actually given players any kind of warning (unlike the way things used to be organised, where there was a clear warning message sent to most people and temp-bans etc).

Does this not warrant some actual warning to individuals instead of a vague "if you do things we feel are wrong we'll strip the Ironman status" to all players?

Given what's happened, no.

This still seems to me, to be a little too harsh as an immediate punishment that's all. I wanted more of an explanation from Moderators because it's affecting a rather decent portion of the Old School RS Community - whether you agree with it or not, it's having a negative impact on a lot of people. And I'm not even one of the players who has had their Ironman Status stripped from them

Why is your beard and chin hanging off your avatar? *Gasps* WHY IS MY CHIN HANGING OFF TOO?!

This chathead isn't actually player kit. It's the Wise Old Man's NPC model. So it's labelled and animated slightly differently to normal player chatheads.[/quote]

But if you notice mine does that too.

Can a Jagex staff member please comment about this?

I've made a couple of rather decent points here and I think that as a long-term player for RS (I've been playing since 2004, my very first RSN was "Elksy_14" and I still have membership on that account today) I really do deserve some kind of comment after 10 years with you guys...

I have an Ironman on RS3 and OSRS, high rankings in both of them; yet if you were in the "community", everyone hated what [insert streamer here] was doing and that he was abusing methods. The fact is, most people who supported what he was doing is either A. Friends, or B. Followers that don't know how most of the community feels about this.

I'm not questioning the community's view on this, more the actual decision to punish people so suddenly without some kind of actual warning.

[Said Streamer] has been entertaining many people with their videos and streams, and they have worked hard at their levels. It's more a question of "Why were there no clear rulings on it prior to this point, and why was there time provided to change the way the game's trade system works but the players were not warned about Jagex's view on the trade issue?"

It's just got us completely baffled.

When you say 'us', you are talking a small number. Bug abuser's do not get a second chance about abusing bugs that weren't intentionally put into the game. Yet [streamer] abused the system (a bug) and did it for a very long period of time. It is very unprofessional for him as a streamer to first do it, but it just simply ruins the integrity of the mode. Having a main sell items for a Ironman to buy is against what Ironman was made for.

It was my understanding that Ironmen (trust me I am an Ironman on this account in Old School) could not purchase items that other players had sold to stores from their accounts - this would ALSO include players who have sold items from their "mains" to the stores to purchase back on their Ironmen.

Mod JohnC quoted that he does not feel this is cheating - this is more tedious because players would have to sell a certain number of items and no more than that - then hop accounts, purchase them back onto their Ironman account, and continue this until they were happy.

BUT - is there not a restriction on this? I could not purchase an unstrung yew shortbow one morning when I saw it in the Varrock General store - therefore, using this logic, the players who have had their accounts stripped of Ironman status should not be able to do this as well?

Perhaps I've missed something here - but we have a limit on what we can and cannot do already, but world hopping to purchase runes etc would still be allowed? I can't understand this logic that's all. Maybe I am missing something but it does not make any sense?

You are very biased and what he said was nothing official at all. Why are you only trying to argue [said streamer* case, if you care so much shouldn't you care for everyone this effected? The only reason this is becoming a big issue is because [the streamer] is not owning up to it and saying that he deserved what he did, as he did abuse the game to get an unfair advantage.

people stocked shops in a time before instanced shops. at this time you COULD NOT buy the items regularly because they were to heavily botted buy normal accounts buying them.

AFTER instanced shops were introduced the time taken to obtain the stuff was roughly 1/5 slower than actually stocking the shop urself. there is no unfair advantage here.

people like [streamer] and the bearface have put 50+ DAYS of playtime into these iron accounts. they have amazing stats that they have workded hard for!

mod john c stated that players would not have their accounts banned for stocking shops. takeing away iron status effectively is as bad as banning them. it renders the account useless as we all have mains better than our ironmen.

IF THERE WAS TO BE PUNISMENT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN STATED WHEN THE SHOPS WERE INSTANCED SO WE DIDN* WASTE MORE TIME ON THOSE ACCOUNTS.

a more appropritate punishment, not that any was deserved, woud be to reduce/erase the xp that was gained in the skills that were effected by the shop stocking.
