It also seems like all GE supporters want to do is try to point out the difference between tedious and hard. Wth?!? Same thing. The difficulty of the game lies in the grind. Clicking on a screen is far from difficult. So if you want a GE it is simply because you want it easier.

NO G/E!!!!!! What the heck!!! This will ruin OSRS!!! The tradepost is already on the path of G/e and it's pretty much the same thing, but luck*y Zybez is still more popular than it!!!!

Vote No on the GrandExhange!!! This is NOT RS3, It is OSRS!!!!

I like the expansions of new map ideas (The Gladiator thing,) but Grand exchange will make prices too high to afford when it's hard enough already, stop making this into RS3!!! GrandExchange was one huge reason why I quit, and I've played from '04-10.

Please don't ruin this game by having people who play RS3 come in and make this pass!!! Obviously true OSRS players feel like this shouldn't be released!!!!!!!

Firm NO to a GE. Everyone here who actually played back in '07 knows the game definitively changed with November 07 GE update. That in succession with the stake nerf in September and then the Wildy removal and, lastly, free trade removal in Jan '08 signaled in a new era in RS. I still enjoyed the game thereafter but to say the GE was representative of RS 07 as a whole is a flat out lie, and you all know it.

Additionally, I understand why people want the GE; namely, the ease of buying/selling, barriers to getting scammed, and helpful splitting (for pvp drops via lootshare) it brings to the game. That being said, there's also massive price problems that the GE can cause and anyone who was around in 08-11 knows that skilling became progressively unprofitable directly because of the over supply caused by instant access/merching.

So, in my opinion we lose the true essence of 2007scape and OSRS if we just replicate the GE; it was one of the pivotal changes that occurred that transitioned RS into a different era, and if it comes to OSRS it will be no different. I wouldn't necessarily be against some edits or even expansion of the trade post system--I think its working fine, and it's an original way to deal with the challenges some players face in trading while staying to OSRS. However, I think the development team, and Jagex as a whole, need to be clear about their intentions with this game: are these dedicated authentic 07 servers meant for a nostalgic 07 experiences with minor edits and additions based solely on player input; or is this game meant to become something more, and develop its own character irrespective of the demands of staying "old school".

If its the former, I vote trading post with possible compromise on automatic trading; if its the latter, well, I would hope we could at least have an original to OSRS trading station not just recycled RS3 GE garbage**

the trading post needs to be left exactly as it is now if automatic trading passes merchanters will have their perfect everything they will merch and buy out every single item and sell for exoritant amounts of money it is so easy to buy out every single item they want to even if there is buying limits merchers have hundreds of additional accounts they use to buy out any and all items they want to and resell for higher there are many merchers that already do this on rs3 i do not want the same thing happening on oldschool trading post is more than enough as it is and as it exists now. the way it is now merchanters cant do mass buy outs cause they would have to trade every single person for every single item they are trying to buy out do not make a fully functional grand exchange
