I fully understand why people would vote for a tradingsystem like a grandexchange. But I don't think this is the way people want it. Because like everyone is saying we already got a tradingsystem (zybez).
Now the idea of a trading post is really great idea. But not like this.
The following things make it bad:
-it's in everybank, so someone is selling item x really cheap, but that offer can be found by everyone in runescape.
-People actualy still have to meet (u can't simply buy it from the post, so the added value compared to zybez is non)
-The trade can be found in all worlds (I would definity limited to the world, I think even to the bank were it is posted in)
-You can select the cheapest (removes the fun of searching for a low buy and high sell)

What is good:
The refresh on the bank
-U can contact the seller (this allows you to ask for a lower price)
-Helping guide (altough posting it on the website would be fine to)

6 slots is so far little. Unlike ge, you are not actually buying and selling through the system. you would still need to go through sevreal steps before you actually start shifting items, because of this I think it needs a minimum of at least 10 slots.


People are already back to using the Zybez site because of this, which I'm sure is not what is desired. @_Almostlost - dm for a swap!

Huh? With Zybez you can contact a seller looking to negotiate price. The only thing the Trading Post adds that we don't already have is that it is in game therefore internally we can collect data on prices. (Also 6 extra bank slots.)

Engine change relating to the way stackable items decide whether or not to show a number. Ian's going to sort it, probably for next week's update.

We've got no problem with people using other sites for trading.
But there was a load of demand for an in-house alternative, since not everyone trusts 3rd-party sites, so we offered a trading update a few months back.

some ideas for changes to be polled

1 -
Right click option from your sales menu to view other offers? i feel like it could be easier to check when you are being undercut when managing multiple offers.



2 -
when setting the price of the item show current offers for that item to get an idea what to price it at without having to check.



3-
Make it so you can add an offer from the search item screen. This way when you add an offer it would automatically search and show all the offers and you would be able to price the item accordingly.


Something needs to be done so you can more easily manage your offers to know if you are being undercut etc.

this needs the added option to to set buy offers. Myself and many others who don't see a good offer would have to stick to zybes forums in the mean time to set buying offers. if we don't see any decent offers.

looks good, but if this and similar general market why not make an equal as it was then, (with the character in the center of the site where it was)

you not only only call the attention of the players who gave up again and also would have a recognition of those who still believe that this game back to its glory years

Make a new button 'highest quantity'. Now you have to many people who sell one or two things of this and make your offer get lost in all the smallest amounts. I am obv refering to bulk amounts.

Something like the 'show all worlds' & 'find cheapest' button

Also I am pro trading throught trading post!
