Sounds good, just make the escape button the way it is in EoC, as a cancel for chat. A button sending me to the logout seems a bit less useful than a button that deletes a full bar of chat that I might not want to send anymore without holding backspace.

Still nothing been mentioned on bank tabs and bank search. Don't know how other people feel, but 8 weeks or so into the game, personally my bank is getting full, and I am wasting a lot of time searching for things. Bank tabs and search would be the best update possible for me at this point in the game so I can get my bank organised and waste less time looking for things. Also could you comment on the constant lag in the game, I have died numerous times due to the lag and been stuck in the mime event a few times as it lags as the mime is performing the emote. other than this I appreciate the work being done.

We've mentioned bank tabs and bank search a few times, but not recently in prominent announcements, true. Basically we can't edit the bank interface to put tabs or a search button on it until we get an interface editor tool. I'm optimistic that the game engine team will eventually have time to do this - and we've pointed out to The Powers That Be that over half the stuff on the player suggestions list requires an interface editor and/or map editor - but it's not going to be a quick job. Once we've got the tool to edit the interface, we should be able to do bank tabs, and probably a bank search too. We're also fully aware that people are complaining about lag, and will be asking the engine team to look into it as soon as we get them back on OSRS work. Sorry I can't offer an immediate solution there.

Mod Ash, before you consider doing bank tabs and what not could you not make it so that when you withdrawl an item it's space it automatically taken?

As in, it leaves an empty space until you close your bank.

First of all I would like to say I appreciate the quick response. Also I was unaware that these resources weren't available to the dev team yet and I look forward to seeing what updates will be implemented once you have access to these tools.
On the lag issue, I would ask you to push for this to be made a priority as in a lot of cases the game is becoming 'un-playable' for a lot of people and although personally I am dedicated to playing OSRS, I do believe, if the issue is not resolved soon, you will start to see players fall away.

Grand Exchange, the autotyping UNFAIR ADVANTAGE of those who choose to Macro and autotype is simply ridiculous.

More autotyping botters than all the flax and yew bots at seers on all worlds combined.

The Scaming item/gp switching traders are annoying, ruin the gaming experience and waste time.

The MASSIVE MILLIONS player are making from autotyping is not fair to us NON-Botters.

The TRADE Luring is just sad and can be removed with the Grand Exchange as well as removing the item/gp switch scam and removing the UNFAIR advantage that autotypers have currently in this versions trading system that requires typing to buy/sell in game.

I don't see you (jagex) PERM banning well over half (most likely closer to 90%+) of the current OSR population for MACROING from using autotypers, Even though this is how it should be!

Putting the GE in place removes the autotypers advantage and allows you to keep those cheating players in the game, many have already made tens of millions of gp from autotyping and are not shy about bragging about their wealth.

The grand exchange allows players to manipulate the economy and will land OSRS in the exact same situation EOC is in now. Although I would like to see the 'spam / auto-typing,' controlled, I do not support the introduction of the Grand Exchange.
