I'm amazed of the ignorance in this thread.
The staff went from 6.5m to 3m in a day. Anyone who is saying "who cares about staff price", you obviously aren't 93+ slayer. I have 8 staves in my bank atm collected from slayer and they're worth under half of what they were yesterday, and this is the most valuable slayer drop you could of gotten by far, and now it's halfed in price. (notice I said "slayer drop", before anyone says visage/arma hilt from avansies task/3rd age from a clue they got on slayer etc).
Onto these people saying "nats will go back up!"; No. Do you not realise nats have been basically the same price now for months? More and more people are getting 91 rc, so the nat price will barely change, if at all.
To the people saying "jagex sometimes needs to just make a change without polling it". How well did that go down in the other Rs? Look at what that monstrosity is like now. The devs have lived by the "if it doesn't read 75% it won't pass". I understand it wasn't that type of poll, but the fact that over 50% said do nothing and they still changed it is mind blowing. Adding also to the fact that there was a 2% difference between splashing and NMZ Guthan's and that didn't get changed..
The fact is it wasn't polled because it would of never have gotten 75% to remove it. Sorry for the stakers that feel the same but that was actually breaking game rules, this wasn't.
To anyone who thinks this was a form of botting; are you crazy? This was taking advantage of a game mechanic that has always been here. The devs know that and have stated it on stream and said they don't want to change it because of that, now here we are with it changed. It's the same as afking cooking or fletching or combat, or any other skill you can afk, you can just afk it longer.
