Well I'm not mad at the mod team. I think both sides of each issue have some valid points, and that's fair because these are very divided topics. There's no way for the mod team to make everyone happy, that much is clear from the survey results. The majority may of lost (questionably though due to the raised accusation of payed votes) but it was not a huge majority. The comments about "Good-bye democracy" or "EOC Incoming" are an exaggeration though, and are just rage comments in my opinion. Overall these are all some very difficult issues to deal with appropriately. I still have faith in the mod team and thank them for their continued support of Oldschool Runescape. What's going to turn this game sour though is the community. If everyone starts blindly raging at the mod team, they are not going to be so motivated to listen to us. It's not fun to bring out an update that you put a lot of thought into and then see so many people basically say "You suck".

Seems like the splashing is still possible in pvp servers, since there is no randoms anyway. Could you possibly patch this fast, and not after like 3months of arguing?

Lol, all the people who think commission staking will go away are sadly mistaken. People are always smarter than jagex. Always will be. It will simply be moved to another place.

You've got no basis for anything you are saying other than your feeling though, wheras a lot of people have empirical points. The Polling system has a 75% requirement to change anything, that was stated at the outset. I dont think its helpful to use language like "Goodbye to democracy" but even if you want to dismiss it by appealing to the rhetoric like that, you can't because the underlying point holds. They have ignored the democratic process.

I agree with the decision on commission staking, but I cannot and do not agree with the changes to Splashing. I never splashed, but the fact that it was 54% no change to 46% change, even LESS saying change it without a poll, is a bad trend to start. Only 20-odd percent said make the change without a poll, and you did it.

This creates the 'Jagex knows best' thing I was worried about.

So gg to splashers can someone still stake for there friends though I find it quite sad to stop commission staking because some players were using it to RWT I was gonna do a bit to hopefully win a bit of cash but now with this update I'll have to go back to slayer grinding. *´¨)¸.*´ Kilot ~ Failed RuneScape player.

First thing i felt compelled to give feedback on in a while.

I just want to commend you for going ahead with this decision. alot of people will be against the removal of splashing, but that is only because they abuse it themselves, they will soon get over it. i myself just bought a smoke battlestaff yesterday so good game me

. but every now and again the players dont no best and im glad that you can still make these hard decisions in order to maintain the integrity of your game.

As for the commission staking, it was so obvious that the big ccs were fronts for real world trading, the atmosphere surrounding these ccs and the twitch channels which broadcast them was just grimey and reminded me off the big flower/dicing ccs, i have nothing but the upmost respect for the course of action you took in order to combat it.
