It is designed to be a melee based helm, I don't want it to completely replace other equipment and even with the negative bonuses it would still be best to use at places like DKS.

Yes, if using rapid with darts and accurate with a shortbow. Nobody uses accurate so change it to "same speed as a shortbow"


Sorry, that's me derping! Seeing as it is more accurate and more powerful than a shortbow I will leave it at 3 for now and update the information, well spotted.

Definitely keep the strength bonus at 5, it would seem a little odd for a level 75 melee helmet to have the same strength bonus as the level 45/55 berserker and neit helms.

If you were to drop down the strength, I would replace the lost strength with melee accuracy bonus' of 5-8

@John c leave as is TBH. Doesn't make sense for it to have the same strength as a nezzy helm when you can't even use the venom on most end game bosses. 5/21/2017 The day I claimed ownership of the Old School Content Suggestions.

FOZ is already the best offensive spell in PvP for DPS, it doesn't particularly need an increase in DPS and if it did, 30% is far far too much.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind the Sot* being made 1 tick faster - it costs way more than a trident (in runes and to buy on its own), requires runes in invent and is lower DPS... Trident should be the cheap easy weapon, Sot* should be the costly but hard hitting weapon.

For those interested:

Toxic trident of the seas at 99 magic now has max hits of:

31 base
34 with occult equipped
38.75 with slayer helm (i)

It would now be much better than SOT* and flames of zamorak, perhaps increasing the base damage by 3 is a little too much? Changing it to an increase in base damage of 2:

30 base
33 with occult
37.5 with slayer helm (i)

meant to say toxic staff?

meant to say all poisons and venoms? or will opponent be unable to use anti? or does this make you unable to use anti? sorry just got confused with what this was trying to say.

This increases the magic attack of the staff staff to +25 and has a 1 in 4 chance of inflicting your opponent with venomous poison when using an offensive spell.

... The staff of the dead is already the most overpowered staff to come to the game, making master wand etc completely useless, even better than a d scim.. and its a mage weapon, wtf?. Not even going to say why this is a stupid idea.
