People disliked the cosmetics in rs3 purely as you had to buy them with real world cash and not with in game gold.
Of course but too many cosmetics is annoying, but the main thing I'm trying to say is that updates being added without being polled is getting more and more. For example the recent corporeal beast teleport wasn't polled and that is definitely more than just a cosmetic.
To be brutally honest i'd be happy to see polling for updates to just go away. Why? Players seem to feel entitled about every thing to do with osrs. Yes they added a teleport to get there. But without it you'd have to trek into the wilderness to enter. And that wasn't polled either.
That's the default setting of old school, walking. teleports and such should always be polled, but this is just one example I don't want to fixate on.
And for polls we already voted that most people want to keep the 75%, and if it were to change it'd be a small downscale, which 65-70%? So polls looks like they're here to stay, and if they went the game wouldn't last long.
So the key issue here is items not being polled, I'm trying to make sure this doesn't happen again and that anything that already snuck into the game gets polled properly RIP Forums

It's a tricky example too, since RS3's corporeal beast has a teleport which is a pretty integral part of the content for anyone who's going to be travelling there frequently. I think we're now into the realms of what "obviously" should have been released as part of the Corporeal Beast update, and what "obviously" should have been polled separately. Other examples of contentious topics include some of the loot and the quest series itself.
I agree, I'm sure a lot of these things would have gotten 75% but I do worry because rs3 really changed and I couldn't deal with it. I love old school and I don't want a silly mistake to happen to it like I feel rs3 had. Just poll things and there won't be an issue.
