Bluntly, because a lot of people asked for it, and got very excited about it. Developing something new is a lot more fun for us, and it can be a lot easier too, but that's not the point.

I would see some more ways that firemaking can make money similar to the shades. It be nice to have the exp for shades firemaking and prayer to get a boost and the chests there have the junk cleared out to put useful items. Such as the level 1 bronze chests having items you could use for low level skills as one example. Burning shades is a lot more time consuming then using the ectofunctus but does not even come close to it in terms of experience.

I'd also love to see some of the other quest lines from rs brought over such as the vyrewatch burning. This would also help to breathe life into the shades mini game and give runecrafters another rune to craft. Or the further quests of the white knights. It be nice to have some of those quests here if at all possible.

I'd also love to see a crystal crossbow brought in. I love the crystal bow but a crystal crossbow could be more useful against dragons and such allowing for a dragon shield..

Although more importantly Ashh i remember a few months ago asking you about having ava's device picking up all our arrows that was supposed to appear on the ground when shooting over obstacles and such. You said it be a quick easy fix. Any eta on that one? Kind of annoying chasing bolts and arrows all over the place when 1 line of code could save me that trouble lol

Tbh I'd like to get a skilling boss where to damage it you need to light fires, set traps, smith auto cannons, fletch auto shooting bows, etc.

Would be pretty cool and give skillers a way to make money from it's drops while giving a use to some of the more useless skills like F*.

Probably wouldn't be able to kill it since my stats suck on OSRS but I think it'd be pretty neat

We had that type of boss in rs several actually where you had to light fires to damage them. And to be honest i'm not to keen on bosses you have to move a lot while fighting. Why? Because osrs is not designed that way and its just being shoe horned in.

A mini game where we had to thaw out the people lighting fires sounds kind of a cool type of idea though. Like frozen in ice blocks and you need to light 4 fires around it to thaw the people. Could make it a castle wars style of game. Saving the people to get more followers for your god and what not.

I'd also love to see the soul wars come to osrs. A nice mini game that gave another use for slayer. And i know some don't like it but i miss runespan it made runecrafting fun instead of the back and forth walking that bores you to tears. A lot of potential for osrs to grow yet. But i do hope to see a lot more updates for all players and less of these pking updates that cater to a minority.

Yeah it does not work i died and was back within 30 seconds and still lost many items. Catering to pking and pkers is putting a strangle hold on osrs and stopping it from growing.

"Dc's causing deaths out of your control? Its ok we'll give you 60 seconds to try to run back to where you last were at to recover your items if not its now a free for all!!!!"

"Want more unique and powerful weapons and armor and spells? Sorry we must maintain a fine balance in the pvp section of our game so don't look for to much"

This is what i think every time i see an update here lately. Many other games have come to realize that the majority of their posters on their forums are not speaking for the majority. Their just the most vocal.

A good example of this is the trading problem. They kept believing what they were seeing on the forums and i recommended an auction house style system to fix it. But no they wanted to cater to those on here posting 24/7 few of which that are playing the game and went with giving players the ability to spam.

Yeah i'm a bit angry and jaded but over 10 years of watching the same mistakes being made gets to a person after a while. /rantoff

Sorry, not a fan of this update. The reason why Runescape HD/3 became so unlikeable was because of new items were added that were quite powerful, and then later on more that were even more powerful than the previous etc.

Besides this was a late 2008 update, which is nowhere near the 06/07 feel. I actually remember giving up on Runescape during that time. pls remove it.


If people want to corp, point them to a game called, RS3. No need for it in RSOS.

I'm afraid that it won't happen. This was the final nail in the coffin for me, I lost interest in OSRS.
