Like I said my english isnt that good, if you were speaking my language it would be diffrent.

I said I want updates but only good ones, not updates like these,

What about removing 10 worlds so the worlds would be more crowded, if I go in world 303 and walk to varrock mid, no one is there.

That's what I call a good update.

Mod John C goes through the bug reports very frequently. Several times, most days. He doesn't send replies as far as I know; that'd take a lot longer, and he'd never get anything else done.

It's not predictable how long until inactive account names become available. The engine team did several big batches earlier this year, and will likely do more in future. But I haven't seen a schedule.

Like I said, different updates are targeted at different players. This one appeals to some people, but you're clearly not interested in it. Maybe the next update will appeal to you, but those other players will find it irrelevant.

We polled something like that already this year. It didn't pass.

@ModAsh I don't plan on participating in the Iron Man mode but as for players just being.. well simply put, asses. Wouldn't it be ... fairly simple to make it like in runesape3 where ironmen(specifically just iron men) could buy/use instance boss rooms where it is just them in the room?

i mean i can actually see players that will just hop worlds ruining the kills for iron men.



edit: Off topic.. but does the oldschool team ever appoint any new pmods?

Seems like theres not very many anymore.

I'd be up for creating that private boss room feature, if it passed a poll. But we haven't just snuck it into the Iron Man update as an unexpected extra feature.

That's one for the Community Management team, I'm afraid. We don't do the picking. I hadn't heard of RS3 getting new pmods recently either, tbh, so I don't think it's an OSRS-specific thing.

Love the update, it's given me an incentive to start playing RS again! Just one question though. Will there be updates for armour sets as the mode pans out over the next weeks, months etc? Aside from the highscores what can be done to allow to be distinguised as an Ironman? As cool as the armour is right now i'm sure many players will be ditching it when they find better armour. It would be nice to be able to show off the challenge with items that will clearly distinguish a player as an Ironman.
