would it be possible to make it so ulitmate ironmen can buy back stuff they sell to shops? So we could make use of noted pure essence drops and the handy service of the tool leprechauns noting identified herbs

not an absolute necessity, but it's kind of a pain to be unable to do it.

Mod Ash,

I'm an ultimate ironman going for the Quest cape, but I feel like requiring us to get rid of almost/all items to complete Recruitment Drive, Lost City, Enlightened Journey, and Devious Minds is a bit harsh. Do you plan on keeping it that way, or allowing us to deposit some stuff just for those occasions?

Also, 5 things that I'd like to get confirmation on:

1. Are we ironmen supposed to be able to cook food on fires made by other players? I was able to do this earlier.

2. Are we ironmen supposed to be able to store coins into Nightmare Zone and Miscellania Management coffers?

3. Are we ironmen supposed to be able to store equipment within our Player-Owned House?

4. Will ultimate ironmen ever be offered a noting/unnoting function?

5. Is the Mourning's Ends Part 2 quest even going to be possible for ultimate ironmen? I remember doing it on my regular account, and it was severe yet enjoyable pain.

There is a problem with picking up drops by the way!
I noticed this when killing cows in Lumbridge. Perhaps you know about it already, but

I'll just explain anyway. In great details. Because I love details.

If there is (for example) a cowhide on the ground which belongs to another player, and I kill a cow which also drops its hide on top of the other hide, there are now: "Cowhide", "Cowhide" in the same tile.

If I right-click and select "Take", it won't pick up my cowhide. I have tested this multiple times, and it always tries to pick up the wrong one.

I am assuming that it just loops through until it finds an item with the item id of the item you selected? So basically, if the first cowhide is the first entry, it won't continue down, because it has found the correct id. Is that right?

Weasel's Amazing Solution Suggestion for the Engine Developer:

Add new drops to the beginning instead of at the end of the list.
Weasel's Also Interesting But Kind of Odd Solution Suggestion for the Engine Developer:

Iterate in reverse.

Seriously, one of those have to be a 1-line change, right?
Please do it. It's annoying to actually not be able to pick up items you actually should be able to pick up.

Yeah, I noticed the same problem. Thanks for explaining it to Jagex.

Thanks for the info, I've looked in to this and I'm always able to pick up my own loot when it is the same item on the same tile as another players but I'll keep investigating.

We're not planning on making any changes to make various quests easier for iron man, you'll have to plan your adventure accordingly.

1, 2 & 3. Yes.

4. You can unnote by using them on a bank booth/chest or banker.

5. I believe it is possible.

I don't buy what is being said about the capabilities of old school and adding *ultimate* iron man to existing accounts. I don't see why a second account would need to be added to the existing account. Add a toggle to enable ULTIMATR iron man mode in the game controls. All items mist be in the bank to enable. When enabled for the first time, regular stats are saved and all stats change to 1. There is no access to the bank when ultimate iron man is enabled (and all other iron man mode limitations go into effect). When ultimate iron man is turned off all items are transfered into a new tab in the bank (which can not be accessed by players ever, only viewed). Ultimate iron man stats are saved and the stats reverse to the non iron man levels. When iron man is enabled again (and invintory is empty) stats go back to iron man mode saved stats and the items in the iron man bank slot automatically are withdrawn into the invintory. As far as quests just enable the ability to repeat quests and a save is made for quests complete just like what would be done with the stats

If you say this is outside the capabilities of the old school team you FULL OF ****

You're trying to solve a technical problem without having any clue about the problem statement. They could probably pull it off if they analyzed all the dependencies between account info and char info, everything can be done given enough time, but it's always a matter of priorities. They've already said it's a nontrivial task.

I've made a new account and accidentally got myself stuck in ultimate ironman and made it permanent, I've paid for membership, is it at all possible to change it at jagex hq or a possible refund to start a new account. I want to be standard ironman and not ultimate. I have requested a refund but no reply as of yet
