Amen to that. So many complaints when they don't even see the value a game mode like this actually holds. "Oh I don't like this so Jagex you suck and you don't know how to make game updates." Oh really? Stop playing. Don't want an Ironman? Don't get one. Think they're stupid? There's probably a million things about you that we think are stupid. Come on now.

I wish the RS community could go back to when it was all "I dislike it but you did a great job on it!" and such. Back in the day if we didn't like something, we at least appreciated that Jagex was pushing new material.

I don't see what everyone's problem is? Not ALL updates should revolve around YOU as an individual, If you don't like the idea of Ironman then don't participate in it? simple as, they're not forcing you.

I think its good that they have made the game harder for the people who want more of a challenge!

Good job to everyone involved in making this happen ignore the haters!

Had a good read through here, update looks amazing although I wont be taking part - but the bank pin update is amazing, many thanks there too!!

On another note, I have been attempting to find the approximate time(and timezone with that) that Corp is most likely going to be released at, this thursday? I would really like to be on for release, though I am Aussie so I need to pre-plan these occasions.

Welcome back Ian!!! A great addition to the team!!

Hope I can get a time, even if its just "morning in london" or "late afternoon london".

As much as I enjoy oldschool. This was a waste of time. Did we really need a update for something players can already do on there own?

Why not fix skills and content like Firemaking instead of adding a mode players could choose to do on there on will. Disappointed.

So I can't help but notice the amount of bots at cows/monks in the free to play worlds one guy sticks out to me the most "GreatIronman", What's the point of Iron-manning if you're not going to do this legit I mean how can you be proud... Really ****** me off.

This ain't directed at your post just I've seen so many similar and feel like i have to add my view. So i quoted it.

Yeah theres that point, but i also think that now you have the ability to prove your an iron man its more rewarding, then just having to take some ones word for it.

In terms of time wasted on this update, back in the days when free trade was restricted, a mod said that its only really a small bit of code that would need changed to change the way trading ect works. So i doubt it actually took that long in its self to do, but i dont really know its just a guess, i might be completely wrong.


Now this updates done,theres room for all the others, I'm pretty confident all the other skills will get more content its just a waiting game really.

i just made a account and made it members, when i was on tutorial island i selected the option to make my account iron man, but when i left tutorial island and talked with the people outside lumbridge to collect the gear, it said i wasnt an iron man.this bug caused me to waste the membership i just put on the account, since i made it for the sole reason of playing iron man. is there anyway a jagex mod can reset my old school account or something? after buying membership it is really frustrating to have this happen.

any help would be greatly appreciated
