I like everything about the amulet, except I think that the amulet should just from barrows itself. I understand the idea of livening up shades of mort'ton but I think if we had the amulet act like it was a repairable barrows piece itself, and was an item from the chest this update would be much better. Or of course, just putting the item in barrows alone.

Sounds like a lot of people dont agree with ahrims. I would suggest: Ahrims extra bonus acts like poision, but 2x faster, dealing 4 each hit.(Poison stacks)

Someone also said about changing the effect torags has already with the mentioned new effect, and making the new effect a slight aps buff, I think thats a good idea. As it is no one uses full torgas in a practical sence.

Cool, but the Torag agility reducing set effect is still completely useless. There are so few instances that this would result in a significant advantage that I wonder if it has happened even once in Runescape history. Maybe just change that piece entirely?

Also, adding the necklace to shades is great, but please also make the other rewards not suck so much.

So, Mod Ronan and all other people:

Did you all deem the improved Verac's set effect of +3 prayer points recharge overpowered, but not Ahrim's + 30% damage on autocast AND ability to autocast Ancient Spells, including the already strong Ice Barrage? So because people complained it was too strong you then made Verac's effect irrelevant?

Explain this to me, my mind doesn't go there.

And yes, i'm sorry but +7 prayer bonus is rather useless/irrelevant considering you lose the amulet slot. You could be wearing a fury for the prayer bonus and other bonuses as well.

There are still some unresolved issues:

Verac

The amulet is useless - it's not worth it stat-wise (fury is better) or cost-wise (again, the cost of degradation will easily outweigh the extra ppot unless the amulet is like 50k).

Ahrim

Why was this changed to an extra 30%? Have a 25% chance of doubling damage still leaves Magic trailing behind melee and range (bearing in mind range can do 60+ with dbolts and melee can hit 50s (at a faster rate) with tentacle, and higher with godswords).

With 30% extra damage, it'll still make Ahrim's not worth using - you're sacrificing a shield, using a (frankly) crap weapon and being forced to pay a premium for the amulet's degradation.

Torag

How big will this boost be? Bear in mind that most fights are not long enough to build up a big boost if it takes time (e.g. +5 levels every time spec activates until +25), and that you're giving up a shield (+70 all defs) and using a terrible weapon.

Also, if it resets when you take off any pieces, you can't swap to guth to heal/etc. (so worse for tanking at GWD) and you can't hybrid either.

Dharok

Does this work through prayer? If I'm praying melee and Graardor would've punched a 60 on me, will I reflect 9 damage on him, or will only the damage I actually take be reflected?

Guthan

Even healing to 109/99 is still pretty mediocre - I can't really see anyone buying this amulet to use with Guth when a single brew dose would put you higher.

Maybe add something like "heals you 1.2x of what you hit rather than 1x".

Karil

Again, why was this nerfed? (and not even mentioned in the change log).

The max you'll do in PvP with Karil's bow is in the 20s - having a 1/4 chance of maxing in the 40s/50s (bearing in mind you're paying a premium, using an awful helmet, and have no shield) isn't really a lot to ask.

It just won't be worth using as it stands.
