The question of only using NMZ for Imbued was not polled and therefore this is a joke! How do you expect Ironmen to max? There is no way people are going to mine that amount of essence or sit at the shop for 100 hours to get crafting supplies.

This needs to be polled and it will fail. people play a game to complete it and enjoy a challenge but this is too far and I know it needs to be "GrindScape" but its just not right when the Shops poll failed.

NMZ is a shop, we buy stuff with points but its no different to using BA to get tons of items like on the LiveStream Last night...

Poll This or you wont get any many Ironmen sticking with this for as long....
We have a chance to create a good mode which after many years has an end.
You don't want someone to get 99 in everything and be stuck on 90rc and needs to spend 300 Hours mining P Ess to complete the game!

I get most my ess from drops, and have never bought ess in NMZ. Admittedly, I doubt I'll have 99 RC in OSRS at any point, but it is possible.

If you want to max all your skills in a hurry, I don't think Iron Man is for you tbh....

I don't want to max quickly I want it to take time, I just don't want to have 90% of my skills done but still be 500 days from maxing because I need to spend 300 of them mining.
I have maxed accounts before and I want the challenge of doing it the "Iron" way but I want it to be realistic and not a complete grind.

If that's the way it is then so be it, but its not what the community voted for and its not even been polled. I am only asking for it to be a question to gauge the communities views.

At the end of the day everyone will have the same handicap so the rules aren't overly important, but as I am playing for myself I want an end to be in sight.

Players can only use solo nightmare zone and the shop should only allow them to buy the imbued items

This alone would prevent me from ever making an official iron man account.

I'm going to rant a bit, directed more towards players than towards jagex because apparently this is what the players want.

What's a reasonable RC level for an iron man to aim for? Obviously a minimum of 59 for double cosmic runes to charge air orbs (which means competing with bots to buy sand and seaweed nonstop for two weeks since you can't use nmz) to make air battlestaffs to alch for ~2k profit each and work towards 85 crafting for a fury.
Assuming you're smart and quest all the RC xp possible and put your one small favour lamps towards RC, you're still going to need ~23k pure essence just to reach level 59 RC if you do astrals from 40 and laws from 54. That's ~18 hours of mining ess, plus all the time it takes to craft all those runes. Now that you can make double cosmics, you're going to need to craft ~45k cosmics (22.5k ess) to charge your 15k air orbs. Crafting 22.5k ess in abyss isn't all that bad, that's about 15 hours I think. Three days if you commit yourself. But mining 22.5k ess? 17 hours.
You're telling me that I need to double the time it takes to train the slowest skill in the game, really? What's the point of that? Know what that is? A complete waste of time. If you're a high level account and know what you're doing at nmz it'll take you ~4 hours to get all the ess for 1-59 plus the extra 22.5k ess to craft your cosmics. That's still a significant chunk of time assuming it takes 35-40 hours to craft all your ess, you're adding 10+% to the time it takes to do the slowest skill.
What's the point? There is none. You should be able to get your crafting and RC supplies from NMZ. I refuse to spend a week of my life competing with bots to get crafting supplies and then spend another 30 hours just to get the ess I need to spend another 30 hours runecrafting.

^And that's just the bare minimum. You'll be set for a loooong time on laws and probably astrals unless you're casting a ton of lunar spells, but then you'll probably want to craft ~20k+ nats for alching, and however many deaths it takes to get an onyx. Do you honestly think you'll get more accomplishment/seem better at a game if you waste all that time competing with bots to buy crafting supplies and mining ess? Enjoy getting 99 mining from just p ess.

You can very easily get 60 rc just from quests, lamps, and Tears of Guthix. Isn't Ironman mode about building a self-sustainable character? And if you want to level crafting, why can't you kill dragons for their hides and bones, which you need anyway for prayer? 57 crafting - minimum level required for crafting d-leather - is very easy to get via making jewellery of all kinds and bowstrings, which you also need to make for fletching. What do you need 99 rc for?
