QP requirement is stupid. Isn't it possible to recreate the same quests (Spirit of the Summer & Summer's End) but WITHOUT using mechanics we can't use? I.E: Make safe area in the Wilderness, completely remove Summoning requirement, etc...

I care about RuneScape lore because I like it. And originally Corporeal Beast is meant to be a physical incarnation of the Spirit Beast. We could either re-introduce those two quests (a little bit reworked) or make entirely new one with the similar plot.

What do you think?


Making a single quest takes a considerable amount of time. Making two (in 3 months) simply isn't within the scope of possibility.

That's... sad...

Current bosses should all drop a key shard which combines to let you into the cave!!!!!!

That way there will be requiremets like a decent combat level and skills requirements like 70 agility as well. How is it fair that you have to get a lot of quest points to do a boss when that means only clans like oblivion can camp it meaning people who want to enjoy the game and do something fun can't.

I feel that some sort of gating system (a wall between players who do not meet a specific requirement whether through quest points, skills or some other method) is a much needed factor for Corp Beast. It would be for the best interest in both the economy of the items that are to drop and how much are being put into this economy. Also, this will reduce the amount of people massing at Corp as soon as it is out and throughout time. End game bosses as this and similar bosses like godwars, should not be intended for players who do not want to meet the requirements of such a gating method.

Secondly, I feel the spirit shields of the past were fairly well designed in both requirements and stats besides the Divine shield. While Divine offered a new creative way for players to tank content, it made content much easier to do. With spec transfer, ancient mace and other methods, Divine shields usefulness can easily be exploited to make tanking content entirely too simple. What I propose are these options.

(1. Have Divine shield offer you a new prayer that enables you to mitigate a certain % of (total health or based off current health) in damage while maintaining a somewhat higher prayer drain.

(2. Have Divine shield drain your prayer while it is equipped while in combat. Granted, this option is not very clean.

(3. Make Divine shield have a negative prayer bonus so that you will consume more prayer points per second while being hit (assuming you are being hit by an attack) with the drain% based on damage taken.

(4. Reduce the amount of damage mitigated by the shield currently or increase how much prayer it drains per damage you take.

These options would make the Divine shield an option that would make players decide if it really is best to use in certain situations or not compared to the previous version that was the end all be all of spirit shields and offhands in general.

I would love to see an amulet giving 12 strength, seeing a 2k item is best in slot as for strenth bonus atm. Besides that, best in slot headgear would be cool and I even dont have any problems with dclaws or spirit shields. Just make him drop a lot lol.

And preferably no qp req, but 1750 skill and a warriors guild type combat total level, for all cb stats, dont know a good number that would be balanced and stuff.

i love it. Kalphite queen, wildy bosses, kbd, dagganoths and drop a piece at a 1/50 rate. Non tradeable and you can get it back if you die with it

just bring back normal spirit shields then lower their effects or so in pvp areas or just make it so you can use them in pvp, their great for pvmers to use while bossing etc.. and the pkers already got those 3 wildy shields then use dfs too.

Remember if you guys make it too easy and not enough rare(I mean like; every 120+ can go and fight with it,then it is not gonna be something 'privilegized to kill'). I guess QP cape is too hard.

Maybe something like 80+ FM...

To add to my feedback, maybe Archer boots as well? 70 def requirement. Rangers have ranger boots but no one pk's/pvm's with them because they drop almost over everything. Mostly 1def pures use them. Also they don't have much defense bonus.
