I take it that since this has failed to materialise, that this was as much of a lie as the rest of this publicity attempt. ANd it was all a lie, since we're already back to constant XP selling promotions.

Increase the subscription, make better quality comment, but stop trying to get a quick buck.

Hire staff that have passion to endure the development and don't just want a good pension and milk loot box revenue.

This style of marketing is promoted by EA and it's becoming more and more hated. Their most recent COD game flopped because of it. People are getting tired of getting squeezed for cash because developers and game designers can't think of good ways to keep gamers attention and focus.

i feel like there is one thing not adressed by the original post, and that is the fact that osrs gets the "good" update first even before rs3 (the main game - and the largest income part for jagex) gets the updates.

the clue overhaul was basically just a rip-off of orsr clue update, come on jagex get your s*** toghether and give rs3 some much needed tlc.

Why beat around the bush wasting time with these "promotions" when you're literally just selling levels as is. Weed out the rest of the loyal fanbase that you have and try to bring in the new age of teenagers used to paying for EA loot boxes and remove any remaining substance left in runescape grinding.

Don't say this won't happen.

The Blizzard community used to say this wouldn't happen but then the company made instant level 45 characters with the Lich King expansion. Now, they just skip everything and outright sell level 90 characters.

Let me remind you though. Jagex can sell instant level 90 or 99 skills but it doesn't mean they can't sell TH keys too. They can sell both. You can choose Death or Unga Bunga! :D :D :D
