I have a hcim.

But I've most probably used many more keys than the average.

Check this account stats... blew 50b cash gp on keys!

I still enjoy TH even tho I have a hcim. Hcim aren't special anyway. Dear God, please send the competition, feels like there ain't any.
I long lost count of the victories, there were just far too many.

TH was pretty much the best medicine for me...

I used to take rs, rsgp, high scores pretty seriously... it sort of made me very self destructive because I just had to get another level and make some gp...

I was stressed about "failing" combat on my ranger mage pure or my old summ tank...

I was concerned about being hacked and losing my "hard earned gp".

The release of TH was also a release of my worry.

Sure, I don't want to be hacked.. I don't want to train unwanted combat on my pures.. and I haven't* but the best part about it is even if I did, idc now! At worst, I can just make a new account if I want to... and If I were hacked I could p2w my way back to an rsgp fortune if I wanted to...

In summary, TH was the cure for my depression and anxiety and concerns and fears in relation to runescape.

Jagex should be most concerned about what the key buyers think. Does my opinion really matter, if I am not going to buy extra keys like ever?

If they chase away the actual buyers then the whole thing falls apart and it becomes pointless.

I do enjoy the rewards that I get from my daily keys and they certainly won't be gathering any dust before I use them. But I am not tempted to get many more, not even for a rare chance to win clothing for my pet cat.

Of course, I will use oddments to get guaranteed rares and multiple prizes. Would be foolish not to.

I've been very clear I enjoy TH & don't want it to change to some vanilla garbage because of the cry babies.

I use 3 keys a day for a bit of fun, if people buying 750 thousand keys a day make it bad, then reduce the benefit of more keys.
If that contradicts Jagex's declared intent, then there is the inevitable proof that they are hypocrites.

If they are hypocrites they are hardly alone, I enjoy my daily keys with fun promos like loot duels, and aren't so pathetic that I compare myself to what others have.

I play my own way, I couldn't give a **** how other people play, let them play how they like within Jagex's rules.

Do your own thing & mind your own ****ing business, how other people play is up to them.

I've liked Squeal of Fortune, and Treasure Hunter daily keys since inception. I think they're a good way to encourage daily logins, and an active player base.

This does not mean I, or other players who use their daily keys support buyable Treasure Hunter keys. It is important for Jagex to do a formal survey to the community to gauge whether or not it is a "highly favored" game feature. I'd be curious to see what the community perspective is on this subject if a formalized process of collecting data were used, rather than just the inference that daily use equates to approval or "liking it". Simply utilizing daily use from active players doesn't necessarily translate to it being something players like, or even want. I think the conversation around TH needs to go deeper. I understand it, along with bonds are a large part of Jagex's revenue and likely generate far more profit than membership fees these days.
