Of course, you need to buy keys to get the new protean items. I think it's kind of lame to introduce just these proteans . They should just make proteans for every skill available and just get it over with. What is left now?

These new protean items aren't even shown as options for my TH rewards... not sure why it is advertised as available in TH when it is not an option. Am I missing something?

Note: these items
will
only be available from Treasure hunter, and cannot be gained from Protean Packs for the time being

Yes, I am aware. I used about 15 keys in Treasure Hunter before realizing that they were not an option in the rewards. So for me, they are not actually available in treasure hunter

Did they say it is available now? I only see from the TWIR article the new protean WILL only be available from Treasure Hunter, not the new protean are on Treasure Hunter now.

I can see all the possible rewards on my screen today. I guess you can too. Perhaps next time you better check what prizes are possible rewards before you use a key.

Actually "semantics" (of the news post) won't matter at all because we can see what prizes are possible to win. I don't even have to go to the news post and bring up my dictionary to tell myself why I can or can't win whatever prizes now.
