As promos go, this one is pretty lit! Are you brave enough to unleash the power of the volcano?



In this latest Treasure Hunter promo, you'll have the opportunity to get your hands on the all-new Volcanic Lamps. Like Smouldering Lamps, these lamps will give direct XP while burning bonus XP. However, when using a Volcanic Lamp, there is a chance that they can trigger an explosion, turning other Volcanic Lamps in your inventory into Erupting Lamps, which provide 2x the amount of XP!



The volcano will only be active from Thursday, September 12th to Monday, September 16th, so get ready to turn up the heat!

Please cancel this and remove Treasure Hunter completely. The idea of a video game is to have fun playing it, so if anyone would prefer to pay not to play your game, you have failed to make the game fun to play. Start fixing the game so that you have fun playing it with the membership subscription only.

Addendum to my above post:

Things like Treasure Hunter are also the reason why there are many people who don't take you seriously anymore when you introduce nerfs based on "game integrity", when you refuse to rid the game of one of its biggest game integrity issues (Treasure Hunter). As you said to us in the latest PoF nerf post, this following applies to you as well, Jagex:

"We recognise that nerfs are never fun, even if they are necessary."


Players recognize that nerfs to monetization are never fun to shareholders, yet they most definitely are necessary in order to get the game to grow, rather than continuing its dying state. Treasure Hunter needs to go, elsewise the game will continue to look like a mobile cash grab.

They already nerfed hunter gem rocks divine o matic and now pof coming next lol. I need my blue charms back.
