Basically this whole topic is one big whine becuase others can afford the measly five bucks for some keys and you can't. If you're old enough get a job, if you're too young to get a job shovel a driveway, rake leaves or sell some lemonade. I mean seriously people is scrounging together $25 (us, not sure what it is in euros) really that difficult?

I have yet to see any compelling argument against TH I do however see this same silly statement over and over.

"TH makes it too easy to achieve 99s"

And this is bad how? maybe some people have jobs, other hobbies, and Zaros forbid! a social life. There is no prestige to maxing out skills in runescape anymore than reaching max level in WoW or reaching the endgame in any MMO. Reaching the endgame is the whole point. Its the reason you grind in the first place! I don't see how allowing people to pay for some bonus exp to speed the process and support the game in the process is bad. I hate to break it to you sunshine but there is no virtue in having more time on your hands. ZERO. There is also no virtue in getting a 99 or a 120 or a completionist cape. It is simply playing a game. Get. Over. Your. Self.

All of this insipid whining about a completely optional purchase makes me want to vomit.

This nonsense is almost word for word what whiny people were spout way back when membership first came out. They try to twist language and obfuscate their true feelings or make excuses under the paper thin guise of "caring about the game" (oh please) , in the end its just certain people acting like the entitled little whiners they are because they want things but don't want to pay for or put forth effort to get them.

It's very apparent they need MTX to survive as a company. With that being said, I think they could layoff the amount of promotions. Though, sadly, they will most likely just continue to increase the amount of promotions and the rewards from said promotions.

In other words... you're paying money to NOT play the game. A fool and his money are easily parted. Engaging in (gameplay-impacting) MTX degrades the experience for players that actually enjoy the game, instead of spending money to prove how much they don't want to play.

It would be understandable on some level if updates came out with a higher level quality as a consequence of this MTX, but at the rate things are going, it looks like all the MTX money is going to support OSRS with their own updates.
Don't forget – RuneScape members get TWO free spins a day instead of the usual one!
