Jagex will never make enough money off just subscriptions, because Runescape is extremely low quality content, if compared to other games. One could buy a top quality PC game for the price of a yearly membership for sure. Most people do not enjoy repeating one action hundreds of times in a 00s graphics environment. If Runescape was more appealing, there would be more subscriptions and therefore, no need for MTX.

We, the Runescape players, have a specific taste. Jagex exploits the niche market via TH, because it's easy money. I wish TH was gone, but I'm afraid it will only get worse.

I agree, only P2P if you want it to be.

You haven't got to buy TH keys or anything, if you do not agree with it just don't buy anything? I mean you get 1 - 3 keys free depending on your membership status.

There has been many updates in the past which people have complained and moaned about, it's the same with EVERY single game. You cannot please everyone =) Owner of SoRS

Yeah, no, they don't do that. I just think you're a little angry and expressing it over the forums.

I'm not part of JaGex work team whatsoever, never have been and probably never will be.

Only people who are, are JMods themselves and/or the people that have retired from the J team and have a PMod account. (Only a hand full of them) Owner of SoRS

I don't understand why everyone is so hostile towards Treasure Hunter. I don't care if someone buys 1,000 keys or 0 keys, it doesn't affect my game play.

I don't care if the person with 200m xp did it through thousands of dollars in keys or spent over a year binge playing to achieve it.

In business, it's not always how much you make but how much you keep. While it's easy to say "they made record profits" why do we need this then? You don't know where that money is going or what else they're tied up in. _.•´¯`•._.•´¯`•.* D E L A Y *.•´¯`•._.•´¯`•._
