Anyway, besides all that. I don't have any particular aversion/affection to TH. Indeed, if there's something going on there which I like the look of I will, indeed, use my 'free spinz' and I don't give a crap who knows it.

If I think it's rubbish, I'll ignore it.

If it helps keep the ship afloat (even if it's not the mainstream income) then whatever. People don't have to use it or buy it.

If anyone is so obsessed with 'muh achievemunts' that they can't hack TH then my advice is - it's a game. Your achievemunts are not real. They are pixels. Get a life.

If some people want to use TH, or spend their dosh on it, get over it.

It's both an improvement and a trap (two traps even) at the same time when TH-exclusive items that give benefits are added to the regular gameplay; sure, it makes the MTX less P2W after it becomes a part of the base game, but because of that, it breeds new apologists. Whenever new items like that are added to TH, the apologists give it a free pass because they assume the items are going to be released sooner or later to the base game. Additionally, whenever Jagex does do it, Jagex makes damn sure to advertise the hell out of how "generous" they are for doing so, treating it as an actual game update, even though the items will likely have existed for a year or longer prior to doing so. > )

Good question which is actually answered repeatedly by the players themselves who hate TH but instead of quitting, they bought Primier Club memberships year after year.

With or without TH, players will still pay. Only idiots will remove TH to make themselves less money. :D :D

If TH is really "bad" for PR, why do these people who think it is "bad" PR still pay for Primier priviledge in a "bad" PR game? Does it make them part of the "bad" PR? :D :D
