I was dressing up a cardboard doll from 'Bunty' in the 1960s.

I know they say what goes around, comes around, but surely you can do better than this? Worst promo EVER.

It is heartening to know I am not a lone voice in the wilderness. I would love to visit HQ and shake the hands of the Monetization Team - every last one of them.

Alas and alack, I fear this will not be possible right now as I have spent the train fare on purchasing more packages in the current wonderful promo in order to maximise my dwindling BXP. I simply cannot resist the offer of Supreme Stars.

PLEASE, no. All I ever get from TH is bonus XP these days and it annoys the crap out of me. I've gotten to the point where I just convert all fallen stars to oddments these days. ~

Well, no not really. In order to accumulate oddments one must first discard the contents of a chest and convert it.

Some things I'm happy to discard, such as cosmetics (not my 'thing' at all) or crappy little things like 20 potions or some Air Runes. The crappy little prizes generally only yield a meagre amount of oddments so one would have to open a lot of chests to accumulate enough oddments to 'buy' stars.

To open lots of chests, one would first have to spend lots of money buying chests. I don't really want to do that, I'd prefer for Jagex to have the chest contents as stars in the first place.

If you see what I mean.

Which is why I'm pleased when there's a promo that gives a lot of bonus xp items.

For the record ..... Jagex I'm bored to the back teeth with the current Cinder Cores one. It feels like it's been going on forever. Far too long. There's not much point in running a bloody great long promo for something that rips through bonus xp if I'm low on bonus xp to begin with O_o
