Yes, I knew that. In fact, I have been told that in some parts of the world they call it a "Swede". It's been my name since, and the funny thing is that, when I chose it, I had never played, and knew nothing of the lore, nor humor of Runescape, and in particular, I had no idea that Brassica plays such a big part in the humor. On the other hand, it is my claim that Evil Turnip was named in my honor. After all, I preceded him by a few years. ;)

I'ma throw my 2 cents here.
Putting aside OP's clearly semi trolling posts (Trust me I've seen enough fedposting to know bait lingo)I don't doubt OP likes bxp since I love it too.

I'm all for more xp promos, just put the cosmetics on the oddiments store or get another currency for cosmetics.

Give us promos with guaranteed returns and I'll be more of a good little paypig than I already am. You know, that Dagoth Ur fellow has got some valid points.

Oh dear I must say that the current promo is not to my liking.

It really doesn't offer anything much at all that is not already exactly available in the hidden chests of Alice - just now you know in advance you're likely to get a pile of low value junk like tiddly little lamps and small stars. You can be disappointed before you're disappointed.

Using oddments to reset isn't much of a carrot either; oddments can be put to much better use buying Cores or whatever.

Is this, I wonder, some attempt at appeasement of the "we dun liek gamblin" brigade? If one can see what's likely to be won, then it's not really gambling and it removes any vestiges of tingling anticipatory excitement?

Anyway, it's drab and uninspiring and if it's to be the future of TH then I rather think your Whales will become anorexics.

To be fair, if you base the value of your personal achievements in any field on the effort it took to achieve by others, you're doing it wrong regardless. As the name may provide a subtle hint towards, they are personal achievements. On the big picture, you got there first, a value which obviously only diminishes over time. I can see where the sting you're feeling comes from, but it's unfair to blame others for it. Be the change you would like to see in the world.

It's nice that you are cycling all the promos during December and I was VERY happy to catch the Supreme Stars one. Sort of a little Christmas present to me ^_^


The icing on the cake would be if you could actually fix the absence of a forum avatar.
