I don't even like the Raptor tbh. He's too arrogant.
Xenia I thought was a lunatic in life, but after her death she seems to have turned into the best Signature Hero.
Philipe is someone I can see a lot of potential in. He might even fight against Hazeel post-CoM one day, and he grew up very quickly.

Regarding signature heroes I want the Raptor to become a god in the future if possible.
That is a sure way to get a god hunting down other gods that either dies fast or will kill all of them
NO
I do not ship ZamorakxZaros.
I follow them. And Marimbo, the best t5 god.

I imagine he would hate that.
I see him as someone who got to where he is by hard work and training... not by using magical armour or some magic sword or some other magic doohickey that makes him more powerful, and he'd very much see becoming a god as 'cheating'
plus, being able to defeat nearly everything with ease is really boring
None of the gods became gods by 'pure strength of will' or by their own design at all. They became gods by accident or by luck
That is true even of Bandos, who was 'lucky' enough to find a god who wouldnt fight back because doing so would doom the planet... which was destroyed anyway after his death. The person who comes closest to becoming a god by their own power would be Lucien, and he never even became one

well, the gods' plot armour is signifigantly tougher than the Raptor's... very few people would complain if the raptor died, but everyone would be up in arms if all the world events and quests were for nothing and their god[dess] died anyway

I genuinely think Jagex just wants to kill them because they don't like the characters. I swear I remember a JMod saying that they'd been waiting to kill Xenia when Heart of Stone came out... and Heart of Stone is definitely one of the worst quests in the game, or at least it was on release. The entire story and motivation for Xenia made no sense and was extremely out of character, and was basically a prequel quest... because they didn't give us the option to say "Wait, don't do this, we specifically know now there's no reason to do this."
And the same thing with Linza. There was talk, and I think even artwork done, of the new Barrows sister? I swear I saw artwork of her holding a book or something. And then they decided to give the title to Linza, instead... I'm still not sure why Meg or the other lady were even really needed in that quest.
We've already gotten Owen cursed, so he'll probably be killed off in some way that he reconciles with Saradomin and goes to his happy Saradominist afterlife, or Owen pulls a Zanik and "disappears".
They said they wanted to re-do the desert series to include Ozan, but now I'm wondering if they'll just make it so the giant scarab from Contact! eats him or something.
Ariane's not really a big part of any series any more... I'm not sure how they could get rid of her. And I actually forgot the Raptor even existed... Maybe they can keep those 2 for background characters, I guess.

Lets be honest, i think i can speak for almost every one that wanted to kill Phillipe at some point in time.
Trying to kill children inside a video game is complete normal.
During the Blood pact, she did said she had it all under control if things went south.
Phillipe
is
a brat, which is exactly why Xenia had a good reason to refuse helping him… except then she made it another one of her elaborate schemes of "I knew you'd save the day!"
The issue in the Blood Pact is that it's really not clear when she would have realized things went south, and could have let Ilona die.
Raven did both Heart of Stone and Kindred Spirits, and I remember him being the one who said he had plans to kill off Xenia for a long time. Although I really didn't see Heart of Stone as out of character for her, as my issue with her was that she was reckless in the name of a "greater good", and Heart of Stone was her pushing that to an extreme.
Linza was originally going to appear in Rite of Passage, and I think Raven or someone else joked that she would have been pushed off of an island. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if she was intended to die in that quest. Meg and Mary's main roles were pretty much just to give insight into how stories like Sliske's contest raised the stakes
too
much that no one really cares about more minor characters. Plus it gave a tie-in to Mega May.
Since Owen is primarily written by Mod Stu, I imagine he's less likely to die. It depends on how we deal with his curse.
I haven't heard them wanting to redo the Desert series with Ozan. That seems like a substantial amount of reworks, and I'd rather they just continue the series as is, and say what Ozan's been up to since Diamond in the Rough.
I got the feeling that Ariane might be one of our main allies in the Elder Gods pillar, continuing from her role in Heart of Stone. I imagine that there's a chance she might appear in Bik's quest.
I'm really not sure what they could do with the Raptor, though. Maybe just have him follow Ozan to Menaphos, since I'm sure the Raptor would enjoy trying to get 120 Slayer. The most he's done so far has been to show up in Song from the Depths, which was really just a teaser for the Queen Black Dragon anyway.
