*Sees the word Stalker in the thread*

Good... Very good..
"If you believe you can distance yourself from the harm you cause, you're deluding yourself. You're not some mindless tool. You're accountable. Your actions will catch up with you eventually." -Jedi Master Jun Seros; Swtor Bounty Hunter storyline.

@Roundstat, ‘Ocularis’ is a moon/planet (think Endor from Star Wars, but flesh instead of trees). Seeker Synapse is, from what I understand, is another giant seeker, with numerous smaller ones crawling atop. Presumably one of these:

Original message details are unavailable.
However, there are more types of Stalkers out there, many more than I could ever imagine: From the Anima Harks, to the Leviathan Beseechers to the Cataclysm Observers. They are always there, watching and learning from the Father.

Honestly think this may could be a way to possibly introduce or feature some sort of cameo/easter egg involving a new God we don't yet know of be it the
Queen of Ashes
,
Xau Tak
or some other God we have yet to hear of.

We need someone new that can compete with say
Saradomin
or
Zamorak
in terms of power or military. influence.
V
having probably been the best option had he not been killed could have built an army and helped the world sort of withstand the power of more prominent gods.

(I know I always bring some form of God conversation to any thread, mainly because I am so into the lore of the game. Also since Gielinor is an anagram of religion and the fact there are only 5 major factions we simply need more for the player base to familiarize with and give more variety.) But that's just my opinion.

That's not to say V's followers won't take up his example and become a fighting force by themselves. And I would also like to see a group of mortals infused with an ascended microbe or virus (maybe like Xau-Tak but more direct and affecting life), literal hordes of tier 7s as soldiers and tier 5 equivalents as commanders.

There may also be another threat coming that needs taking down, but each participating faction using different methods and ends to deal with it; for example Armadyl and Seren trying to contain it away somewhere, Zamorak outright destroying it, Saradomin and Zaros trying to capture and study it, or Godless and V trying to kick it out of Gielinor. This threat might be a swarm of smaller creatures with the collective power of a god that could threaten the galaxy. Different factions have different philosophies, so using different methods could be fun.

Wait, does V actually have "followers" (apart from the emissary)? It's been a while since I did Hero's Welcome, but from what I remember, the Fremennik are mostly Guthixians (with some being Saradominists, Armadyleans and followers of the Kendal, according to Osborne) and V's whole thing is "I'm your divine champion/hero, not the guy you should be worshipping"
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

Well...they're probably not necessarily followers per se. All Fremennik consider him a hero to look up to rather than a god to worship. Most of the ones who would 'follow' or at least go by his example would likely be the Moon Clan and some of those Fremennik who are particularly enamoured by his adventures and decide to become heroes themselves, protecting the world against the gods in his name and to carve themselves in history as legends, as opposed to the Godless who broke off directly from the Guthixians.

Even V's emissary doesn't really worship him as such, instead viewing him as a hero whose legend should live on and inspire more heroes. Those who went with him before his ascension but after he touched the Stone went on to create runecrafting altars. Another example of those being inspired by him is Alfrick the Planner stating he saw many visitors, mainly the Godless and goblins, paying homage to his legacy and the goblins being awed by his values. It was likely a breath of fresh air after Bandos, and V may also have been a symbol of personal strength for them as opposed to being a god to worship. The emissary also states that he wants the player to pledge allegiance to his memory as opposed to the god himself, rather similarly to Bandos now that he's dead, but being a hero figure lighting oppressed hearts instead of a god of war that demanded worship.

I'd like to see Saradomin in the 4th world event, cause I think we all remember what happened the last 2 world events. "Your god's dead next time he's in a world event. "

I'd prefer we stay away from those outcomes in world events.

Honestly there are a lot of 4th world event opportunities Xau-Tak's corruption vs Gielinor. We got the Queen of Ashes entry to Gielinor. Other Gods entering Gielinor to fight another. The problem with Tuska comes world event is that it was rushed, and a lot of promised content, and art was scraped from it. Plus there are opportunities for smaller scaled world event, like the invasion of Falador. Having it faction vs factions. A world event 4 would require an out of this world entering Gielinor.

My best guess of option would be the Queen of Ashes vs The Godless. Where the Godless have a weapon created, thanks to invention, in order to fight the gods, here they use it against the Queen of Ash as a test. Where you need to collect energies (similar to WE 1 2 and 3) and power up their weapon. For the Queen's faction, you would need to collect the said energies as well to help their god into entering Gielinor in her full strength. The outcome for the Godless: Instead of killing the God it only weakens her enough to where she forces herself to retreat and lick her wound (heal). A Godless member would remain to give us a cut scene and some Dialogue. Her victory would result in the destruction of the Godless' weapon, with a member remained on the area with the same options.

Despite the result, an Emissary can also be added for the Queen of Ashes.

Rewards are better armor of both factions, some overrides as well. That's my Idea.
