I would gladly support Icthlarin, but considering I already support Zaros, Icthlarin would probably have something to say about that.

But still....

Icthlarin for Elder God 2016!

I mean, he's the son of a God, right? Which means he is of truly divine origin, even if he was not directly created by an Elder God. He could make a good emissary to the Elder Gods... if he wasn't so far behind in power that Elder Godhood would be practically impossible for him.

Don't think that interests him to be honest.

He'd do it if it means saving the word, I'm sure.

In any event, ascending one of the weakest gods to near-omnipotent power and energy? Come on, it'll be fun!

Icthlarin was kind of the only one who gave a single damn about us during Missing, Presumed Death. There's no doubt there.
I also agree that almost every god (except for maybe Zaros and Guthix) has let me down or showed me that they don't truly care at least once. I've said for a while now that the Pantheon should have their own faction, hell if the Loreless.. er.. Godless can get one, so should he.
Of all the gods, Icthlarin is possibly (again, besides Zaros) the only one we can truly rely on to help us if we need it. Guthix would if he wasn't kinda dead.

Maybe he's not some righteous leader like Saradomin, or some heroic Messiah like Zaros. Despite being a God, maybe he's still just a guy trying to do the right thing. Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.

Icthlarin's in a position of weakness, he doesn't have the power to dictate terms... if he did, he totally would. He'd murder most of the gods (minus maybe armadyl) to restore some degree of balance to the world (and he'd totally murder armadyl too if the bird wanted to law-ify his desert). The fact that he has little power is the main reason for him being likable

He doesnt interfere much in mortal matters, but he would when there are gods who want to enslave everybody, and him not having the power to do much is the reason why he doesn't
