Well like Throrblade joked, Zanik is hanging out with her fellow Signature Heroes! Or maybe it's a reference to her originally being planned to be one. Besides, I doubt that Owen would be as obsessed as the HAM, so he probably doesn't mind her all that much. Interesting that Zanik didn't comment much on, you know, Ariane being the one to kill Xenia.

Not sure if it's been touched on yet, but she also seems to have had her dialogue updated about the soul obelisk.

What can you tell me about the soul obelisk?

Zanik: It seems to be stable at least. I'm not sure what it is exactly, or how it works, but it's not doing anything dangerous.

Zanik: It seems to be emitting a strange noise. But only at night...when I'm alone.


Player: What sort of noise?


Zanik: I'm not sure... It's like...like singing. But just on the edge of hearing. It's strangely beautiful.

Well makes sense, seeing as we're currently in the month before Sliske's endgame, which may likely involve the Soul Obelisk, seeing as Nomad's Elegy is a prerequisite.

I just hope Zanik makes it through alright, given Sliske knows of our feelings toward her... "While Guthix Sleeps, the World Wakes to the Fate of the Gods and the Children of Mah in Sliske's Endgame..."

Xenia does seem to accept that what we did was right, so she probably wouldn't be too mad at Ariane. Still, I imagine that Ariane killing Xenia isn't exactly something that Zanik will never learn about.

I wouldn't be surprised if Zanik decides that she's had enough and just won't get involved in this. Besides, if anyone will react to the Soul Obelisk, my guess is that it will be whoever we allowed to kill Gielinor. I also can't see Zanik dying yet again after Nomad's Elegy gave us the opportunity to somewhat revisit our choice from The Mighty Fall, and Zanik's already died in her own series.

That's....ominous? I don't know what to make of that, but it's very strange. Given Nomad almost certainly coming into play in Sliske's Endgame, what could this mean? Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

So, I asked Zanik about her newest adventure, and she said she went on an adventure with Meg. She noted they followed a treasure map across the Oceans and fought a "Metallic Red" Dragon...could they have run into the "Dragon" Dragons?

So this is a late response, but I cannot to get this dialogue. And I've tried multiple times. Either it's very rare, or only happens to certain accounts. Or it's fake. Is anyone able to get it to trigger? You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
