Hmm...when you put it that way, I guess you're right.
I guess I got these nationalist vibes from him 'cause he was willing to defend his own people. That's how it is nowadays, anyone who doesn't give in to this suicidal "if you kill your enemies they win" mentality gives out these nationalist-y vibes; it's kind of depressing, this is what we've become, we bend over so easily now...
Political allegories in fantasy's all right with me, as long as they're well written
and right wing.
An example would be Tolkien, he did it pretty well--the Rohirrim were Anglo-Saxons, Gondor was Rome, the Haradrim were barbarian invaders who had to be driven out.

There are many liberals (in both the European sense as well as the colloquial American definition that just means left-wing) that stand for their principles and condemn the savagery of other cultures that hold inferior values, and they do so without regressing to the backwards tribalism of the alt right or the retarded idealism of libertarians.
