Well, I re-read the transcript and rewatched the quest but I still don't see anything there that is even just slightly romantic in any sense. For me it's just comforting and trying to help someone I became friends with along the way, and happens to go through a really rough time. If it's more for you, that's okay, but I think it's just what you're seeing into it. (But once again, that's okay, 'cause hey, it's rpg, if you want your story to go that way, why not?)

Yeah it's just a matter of roleplay. If some of us felt the romantic connection with her despite there being no actual romance prior to it, why couldn't she feel it as well? I'm extremely not expressive in this area so maybe neither is she and just once slipped and actually showed how she feels? I'll just imagine that's how it is
