Reasons:
- I was given the task to protect the world by Guthix, so I prefer keeping my task as promise, and completing his lifelong dream of Gielinor being a mortal only world without the gods influencing it. Of course without Guthix's asking us to be world guardian, look at the gods war, the wilderness, lumbridge, the deaths during Bandos' and Armadyl's battle. All the gods as seen are greedy. Yes they think about us but mostly about themselves and have us battle their battle. I prefer being back when the edict was around, less destruction if you ask me.
- The faction reminds me of Guthix WAY before he was known to be powerful, he was the 3rd most famous god until he was stated to have shaped Gielinor. So given time I think the Godless will grow more. They are the only faction that, not only agrees with his idea of a world for mortal only, but the faction is one I am more suited with, a free world for mortal to live their life without the gods.
- There is nothing I dislike about the faction besides the fact that it is basicly a mysterious faction with less lore. We were given enough lore about them from time, on how they kept an eye on BOL to ensure none of the two faction left the crater. BnB they attempted to avoid them from gaining a main location. and against Tuska they won (yes with help of other allies but other faction in other event had the same help)
As an Amascutian, I am in the the same boat as Cap'n Lime there. Or perhaps more aptly, I am in the boat that is firing upon Cap'n Lime's boat. Yarr.
But anyhow, my emissary alliance is currently parked on Godless. Out of all the factions, it is potentially the one most easily manipulated toward Amascut's goals. If only if it weren't for peace loving hippies like Garlandia...
Amascut doesn't mind that they want to destroy all the gods. Just as long as they remember to get her last and destroy everything else in the process it's all right.
But in reality, all factions have nice vindictive wrathful side which could use some encouraging, so if the godless didn't exist I wouldn't be too bothered.
Humility is self-destruction, pride is the destruction of all else.
And He said, "
Let there be light.
"
And then there were
none

Her reasons are pretty simple, the mystery is what first attracted her. After more and more was revealed, she gravitated towards his followers; Azzanadra and Wahisietel are still two of her closest and most trusted allies, they were with her in arguably her hardest fought battle, the Battle at the Ritual Site. Now that he's back, she follows his philosophy and his plans to quell the threat of the Elder Gods.
As for my alt (whose name is yet to be decided...), she's actually
Guthixian
, and probably won't care much for the Godless.. so she's not really part of the "factions" thing I suppose?

Why? Because I find him interesting. I share most of my values with him. I would like to find the best way to get the gods and mortals to work together for the betterment of the world. Although I do like some of the other gods as well (such as Seren and Saradomin), I just feel like he suits me the best.
Of course, I don't think he's perfect, but I think he's the best fit for me.

Anyway I follow Mah, which makes me automatically a Zarosian and Serenist. Zaros and Seren came from Mah. They were pre-programmed upon birth with different personalities, interests, and goals. Different polar opposites. Seren represents Mah's loving, emotional side. Zaros represents her calculative, cunning side. Ultimately, when mixed together, they form Mah's overall personality. Seren and Zaros are basically her avatars, like Tumeken and his 4 facets he separated from his soul, Crondis, Het, Apmeken, and Scabaras. Each of them are said to represent a part of Tumeken's core beliefs. The Dark Lord was said to represent to represent Seren's evil, etc.
I worship Mah, for she is mah homegirl! The correct adjective for Mah's followers are: Mahomies, Mah-homeboys, or Mah-homegirls.
I support Zaros, because I think he advocates logic and strengthening oneself in body, mind and soul.
But don't think this means I think Saradomin is a douchebag. In fact, I happen to like the fact that he seems to have decent intentions behind whatever it is he's doing, even if he does take morally questionable actions and calls himself the one true god (I mean, nobody's perfect and Saradomin did grow up around people with superiority complexes). It just comes to show that he's a normal human being underneath that tier 3 god power.
All of the ascended gods were mortal once, which suggests that their philosophies came from whatever culture they grew up in before they ascended. Zamorak grew up fighting and came to believe that chaos is what makes people improve, and Bandos was born in a warrior culture who fought to the death. As for Armadyl, it seems that he grew against the ways of aviansie fighting and killing each other for simple yet hard-to-access necessities such as water and shelter, and decided that harmony was the way to go for survival.
Even Zaros and Seren, who were born gods, had influences from experiences with mortals. The first mortal race Zaros met were the demons, and he was struck by the genius way in which the Chthonians did things by making a complicated system that worked. And Seren grew to love the elves who used harmony and nature without damaging the anima on Tarddiad.
