Bandos. Life is cruel, unrelenting, short. What better than a Religion about self-improvement and Glory, whilst slaughtering and eviscerating everything that dares challenge you in your path to Victory?

Too many futile and pointless systems exist, created by narcissistic and useless rulers, governing weak and feeble sheep. Bandos Unites those Sheep, or I do, now, heheheheehahaha...

Those sheep become armies, peons, soldiers, tools. Tools to adorn ruins with corpses of the fallen and discarded. Tools to rebuild a grander, greater empire in mine and Bandos' name. Tools to orchestrate endless and planetary scale wars, bathing skies in red, and drenching rivers in the stains of battle. Life is boring without conflict, we are given anger to sully our weaker emotions.

Through war, Love becomes passion. Through war, happiness becomes bloodlust. Through war Ambition becomes Reality. Democracy and Altruism only lead to corruption and abuse. The only Laws that should apply are the strongest rule and lead. Crush any who oppose us. Wealth is in skulls and notches on your axe. Respect is gifted by combat prowess and mastery of sword. Why waste time looking for funding when the cost of stagnation is death? BUILD YOUR WEAPONS AND TECHNOLOGY TO DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES!

All other Gods want to control us, they set laws that set us back from our instincts, our freedoms. Bandos created some of the best killing machines ever known, specialised through constant genetic crossbreeding and evolutionary attributes. Instead of bending the area to us, we became suited for it. Melded to never be defied by environments or terrain.

Unconquerable, Unbeaten, Indomitable!

The only thing that separates us, is the lack of will to survive and grow stronger.

You know deep down it is true. But which of you will cast down your shackles and see fit to claim your destinies?

I accidentally choose to represent Sliske. It was the first emissary I ran into, I accepting without realizing the magnitude of my decision. He seems to be like the god of greek myth loki. I read up on him but I cannot tell what the heck are his motives exactly...... I am probably the only one representing him.

His similarities to the Norse god Loki are part of why I like him as a character, and his motivation is largely about how the world seems to have stagnated. He wants the gods to go to war just to see what would happen in the fallout.

I would personally recommend trying to play Sliske's Endgame to see it firsthand. It's a long way to get there, but he's one of my favorite villains in years, though you're likely in the minority representing him precisely because he was the main villain from 2013 through 2016.

I support Seren. I have for many years now. I even chose her in sliskes endgame. I like her because she tries to protect the people she cares about and is willing to work with the other gods and respect them, which is rare among the gods. Yeah, she’s not perfect, but none of the gods are and she seems like the best one to me. Besides, she has a really interesting story

was thinking of switching from Zaros to Saradomin but honestly as of Endgame all the factions were in a pretty lame state. Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

None of them honestly. I chose the Godless emissary because of Guthix. I am kind of torn because I made a promise to him and I think he has good ideas. But tbh, Armadyl would not be bad for the world if he were the last one here. I will ally with some of them (Zaros, Seren) in order to deal with the Elders and XT. I think the gods are good tools to use to balance gielinor, by working with them, yet stopping any from going to far. Then once it seems like the world is in better shape, kick em so they don't mess it up again.

I support Armadyl, for all his faults he has truly good intentions, is doing his best, he's respectful and he uses his power to do good.

He and Seren are the gods I like the most, but unlike Seren, Armadyl wants to try and make the world a better place, rather than finding a hideout in the world and not intervening.

Oh, it seems I'm late to the party. Very well...

Saradomin. Our goals happen to align quite a bit with our visions for the world: peace, order, stability, etc. He's also poised to be the most powerful faction right now, so if for nothing else I benefit from him the most versus any of the other gods.

I follow Zamorak. His ideas make sense to me, and I really feel like you can remain a Zamorakian while completing many quests, with limited plot holes.

I actually questioned who was really right for me, but the more I quested, the more I realized Zamorak is best. In Children of Mah, I can't help but agree with Zamorak. Before the quest, it was really unclear to me what his actual motivations were, but the quest showed me that he was completely reasonable and he wasn't just doing it for a power grab.

It makes canonical sense for a Zamorakian to fight other Zamorakians. It doesnt necessarily make sense as a follower of one of the other gods to fight against your own faction. I like my story to make sense. I dont need to like Zemouregal, and him and I can fight till the end of time, while remaining loyal to Zamorak and his cause.

Zamorak treats me with respect. Saradomin and Zaros are especially bad at belittling the World Guardian in my opinion. They are a follow or die faith, and I want to be able to ask questions. Bandos has the issue of wanting conflict for the sake of conflict, without regards to the possible outcomes, Sliske seems to fit this section as well.

I understand the Godless position but with a dead God as their main, I dont see them succeeding. Bandos and possibly Sliske could be in this category.

Armadyl and Seren care specifically about races, neither of which is my race. I dont particularly have a problem with them, as long as they stay out of my way.

Its seems like all of the Gods want to push for their own power, and advance their own motivations while Zamorak seems to mostly care about the advancement of everybody and everything. I am a huge supporter of equality, and only Zamorak treats us as equals, and expects everyone to be treated as equals.

Strength through Chaos-

I have always seen myself as a Zarosian, even when I was new to the game. At the time he seemed the most cool god in terms of interesting. His backstory, of being betrayed and banished by his former follower was intriguing.

Now I follow him because I see myself aligning with his goals. Have a firm but fair hand approach. Let being be who they want but give gentle nudges in the right direction for those who become lost. That and he seems to have more of a logical plan for dealing with the Elders.

If your faction didn't exist, which would you choose instead and why?

Jas, because I would not mind watching the world burn to be honest. That and most mortals have not given much reason to live, with their destructive traits.
-Is there anything about your own faction you dislike or disagree with?

Zaros would do more harm than good by becoming an Elder as he would then become an additional threat to Gilenor. If I could stop him ascending, while not killing him or banishing him, I would.
