Let's put the shoe on the other foot, and say, I'd done that. Now consider the Butterfly Effect, do you think it really would've been better? Do you think it would be any different? Do you think the reaction would've been "oh ok, let's bury the hatchet and have you start fresh." No, that would've been silly. By then, I was already skating on thin ice, that wouldn't have worked, keep in mind this was around September-October of the current year, there would've been backlash no matter how I come clean.

There's another reason for why simply coming out would've been impossible. When someone does something big, sometimes their name forever becomes associated with that act, no matter how hard they try to ditch it. Al Gore will forever be known as the guy who claimed he invented the Internet, despite everything he's done to prove otherwise, Robert Pattison will forever be known as a sparkling vampire even though he played Cedric in Harry Potter, an even bigger franchise, the French will forever be known as cheese eating surrender monkeys, the South will forever be associated with racism and slavery, Nixon will forever be known as that guy who deleted 18 minutes of tape.

If I'd done just that, I'd be in the same situation. I'd thought over this during my self-imposed exile, and I thought then that logically speaking the best way to kill Aegon was to kill him then start anew on Percy/Nerd.

And in the words of the great God Emperor, "I disavow." I disavow Aegon, the Chris-chan of the lorums.

Very well then, if you wish to be technical....yes, I care that you are spamming this thread. No, I don't care about your life story.

As to why Jexel keeps feeding this...I don't know. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

I really have no idea. Would I quit the game and everything associated with it all together? Probably.
