The orbs inside the altars are probably because the wizards from the guild are putting them there. If I could recall, Acantha and Vief are saying it is to maintain the runic energy to not run out of runes. Perhaps that is why the playable altars have those instead of the non "gop" related altars? But that is just a prediction, I'm not sure about the other altars yet.

Unable to check, as we can no longer view edit records, but the Span article on JAGEX' Wiki is likely written as Mod-approved, and it answers a few of the questions about the Span (whether they're empirical, or just as far as NPCs view it, Idk.. it also seems to contradict other sources, on a few points, though that might be just because it is older).

Well i'm not daring to state else but a related facture concerning the yellow energy. If one was able to infuse this on essence, it would yield yet to exist life rune. Whatever would the green yield is unknown mist that is as gray as Saradomin's beard.

I'm sure gods can hide their natural haircolours, huh.

the life rune was discontinued, ages ago-i don't think imbuing yellow energy would yield that Ced Asheron : Avid
