I've no doubt that the void Bandos was kicked into is the same void of the pests and Spirit Beast. I have even uncovered an old piece of Bandos' Memories:

Either the Spirit Beast is older than we thought, or Guthix must have cleaved a lot of the Abyss when he shattered his Sword, leaving quite a bit of Void behind, or maybe even dimensional damage as a result of the God Wars. Most likely a combination of everything. We should ask Mod Srowl*y/Jack I guess. Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Or is it possible Bandos simply meant Space, as in the space between planets, when he said "void"?

After all, void there is in lowercase, so it's not meant as the name of a place, just the description.

In 6 and 11, there is evidence to assume he is in space. In 6, he just destroyed the planet, so the logical closest place to be after doing such a thing wold be space,

And in 11 , Guthix was simply getting him out of Gielinor, (presumably) not really caring where he ended up after that. So he'd boot him to the closest non-Gielinor place to Gielinor- space.

In 6, when he's hearing "mighty cries" i doubt it means literal cries, but rather some kind of godly magic powered echo, which he could sense.

I always assumed the void is just the opposite of stuff, it's what the universe was before the elder gods created it. It's essentially nothing, I don't think that the spirit beast is creating it per-say, but rather causing a rip exposing the void. Imo the void always is and has many ways of entering it.

Though I would say in bandos cases that's just space.

I agree with that, the Void is a place where nothing exists. This could be interdimensional nothing or interplanetary nothing. Both are "void".

Reminds me of the old "facing the void" expression of Mahjarrat, maybe they believe their deceased go to space?
