I'm a long time anti-Saradominist on account of his head being completely up his ass and him not having a problem with throwing a temper tantrum and killing a planet because he claims he's "changed" all while doing the same shit over and over again. I despise him and his actions. Like ripping the wings off an Icyene because "he needed them to fight to survive" well he could just as easily have said if she didn't want to fight then she couldn't reap the rewards of the defense that the struggle brought and kicked her out of his group of followers. If she wanted to give the killer beasts a hug and be killed... now that sends a message. Instead he took justice into his own hands and maimed her. He rules through fear and force because in his mind he is always right and the ends always justify the means. He is a heaping pile of shit. But in that pile of shit there is a father that would give anything to protect his daughter no matter the cost. And that is the first and probably only thing about Saradomin I will ever like.
I will actually feel bad for the daughter when I execute her father for war crimes.
This is literally every thought I've ever had on the matter.
Unfortunately, I missed all of the hidden posts, but I can only assume they came from Saradominist defense, and I think that it's a pretty good analogy of how Saradomin deals with people, groups, and races that he doesn't like, or that disagree with him over this slightest issue (he attacks them, and leaves other's to clean the mess up, then he apologizes later, saying that he's "changed" ).

Even before the revelations about Saradomin, I've known how that game works as I understand the history behind what it was based on. And generally how history distorts the truth into something more agreeable to what is needed at the time, for boosting moral etc. Or more simply history is written by the victors, and a lot of what we take to be truth is laso filtered through our own biases and we can only write things from out own point of view and grasp of knowledge. Someone from the ancient world sees a 747 go by and they'd thing it a monster or further back, a deity or heavily curiosity or sign. So things have to be taken with a grain of salt. I also have some understanding of "how the game works" when it comes to empires and politics.
I have always liked that game lore seems to take personal view considerations of NPC's and their remembering and recording of events and having it shape their account. Saradomin is the perfect example of someone who has had too much power for too long, it's good thing real people are not immortal as that is the only reason some of the more disagreeable systems of governance have disintegrated and vanished over the sores of history. The personality driving it dies.
Saradominism is an example of how the world would have kept on ticking without the need for his involvement. A long p[eriod was spent without the god's involvement. At some point people will get over their fact they are back and start thinking back on the good old days of the 4th and 5th age. Then the pot will definitely boil over and get ugly. Asgarnia will propbaly be one such flash point, since the trouble in that multi religious Kingdom of clans was supposedly by direct order of Saradomin.
No matter the explanation and apology too much history says he acts other wise. I have nothing against Saradominists, Saradomin and his "elite" is another matter entirely.

They came from all sorts of people, I don't know where you're getting that all of them MUST have come from Saradominists. Hate to say it, but that comes across as just as bullheaded as you say Saradominists are. If an entire chain of messages is blocked, isn't the obvious conclusion that people w/ differing views were arguing?
It was the one recurring problematic Saradominist who cannot debate without getting personal, and all the trollier posters who like to rile him up (one posted a Saradomin as Hitler meme). Oh, and another Saradominist and me telling said person to please calm down. You missed nothing important, but it certainly wasn't every Saradominist getting belligerent, it was a single troublemaker.
Ultimately, all of the gods have major flaws. Which is good, writing 101 is not making a perfect hero unless you're going for a very simple story or power fantasy. Saradomin's biggest flaw, imo, is that he wants to create a world based on means resembles the ends via ends justify the means methods. Get to an orderly world free of evil by any means necessary, and then no one has to dirty their hands ever again.
Honestly? If it works? I'd be for it. Just like I'd be for Armadyl accomplishing such a world through more above board means or Zaros doing it by puppetmastering the universe (I'd rather he didn't ascend to Elder Godhood though). That said, Saradomin's methods alone haven't worked, which is why I'd really like to see him team up with some of the other Lawful gods.

It was an over exaggeration to tie into my point, love.

Hard to reinforce a point with something that has a shaky foundation, especially if you're going to overplay it. (I see you edited it to "tie into," if that was what you meant all along, I'll chalk it up to me being unable to read humorous tone on forums.)
If you want to say that Saradomin's whinier followers on the forums resemble him in your opinion, then sure, do so. However, they're really closer to Zilyana, where zero criticism of Saradomin is allowed and if you do it you're evil IRL. Saradomin himself lets you badmouth him a whole bunch, until you actively oppose what he's trying to do. I can still see people disliking that, of course, but it's different than throwing a hissy fit because people said means things.
Also, I'm going to say right now that anyone who wants to get overly nasty about their faction being attacked should reflect on what you said nonetheless. Proof that when people act badly it reflects poorly on their faction by association.

Excellent theory. Which mod would take the time to make Edcy posts? Raven, perhaps?
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Say what you want about Edcy, he's a prophet and there's is a certain truth about his words.
