So anyway at the end of the quest we learned that Sliske's wights are free to do whatever they want, the barrows bros and Linza and probably Akrisae who doesn't even appear in the quest, chose to stay in the barrows but there is one wight we have no knowledge of after the quest..... Nomad, he is basically free again to do whatever he wants :P

Not really. I'm sure that Death will have sought him out.
The pirates of the Granblue set sail!

. For the most part, Saradomin was very confrontational in my (fairly neutral to him) run of the quest - aggressive against Zamorak (duh), hostile to Seren (fairly predictable response to being asked to drop out) and his early answers about Brassica & Marimbo wouldn’t have endeared him to their fans. He seems to have come off worst from this quest.

I thought all the comments made on Brassica and Marimbo were very insightful and true to the characters. Saradomin just took them as jokes/disgraces, Armadyl was more contemplative about them, whereas Zamorak thoroughly thought through the consequences of Brassica's proposed power...

amusing.

I'm curious how Vorago fit through that maze though. No one's mentioned him as far as I'm aware.

I saw Vorago with Armadyl. Armadyl was trying to form some pact with him. But Vorago told him he doesn't care. That the events of WE 2 caused great harm to the Anima Mundi and that it was his failure for letting it happen.

That he was eternal and infinite but the Anima used in the fight isn't. And that if anyone tried it again he would personally stop it. Which Armadyl tried to apologize over and Vorago just told him he judges mortals by their actions not words.
I'm a big entropy fan.

All subtlety and nuance of a napalm enema

There's obviously the big reveal that Jas is Sliske's 'master' (though I question why she used the mortal name of the Siphon), but is anybody else curious as to how/when Sliske became her 'agent?'

Given his implicated role in the collapse of the Zarosian Empire, I'd guess he was already her agent back then (the intended effects of his plan mirror those of the Empire's collapse). Given his claims of traveling the universe and observing various worlds, maybe he's the one who moved the stone from Kethsi back to Gielinor and into Zammy's hands.

Nomad's been dodging Death ever since he opened Soul Wars. I doubt we've seen the last of him.

I won't lie, Armadyl was redeemed a bit in this quest. It's too soon to say for sure, but he seems to be getting his head out of his ass and looking at things from a more logical viewpoint, not needlessly risking his people, realizing that Gielinor is a dangerous warzone and that they could do better on another planet. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

In other words, "too bad if you get personally attached to any of them, they're all gonna ******* die!"

Feels like one huge middle finger.

But what's canon's canon. And no matter how much I sperg out, it's not gonna change.

On another note, I will be super disappointed if Armadyl doesn't die by getting deep fried and seasoned with 11 secret herbs and spices and then becoming KFA--Kentucky Fried Armadyl.

Well what's important to know, it's pretty obvious all the gods will die, however that doesn't mean they'll die tomorrow. Those forseen deaths could be thousands of years in the future as far as you know.

True, but they'll still y'know... die.

I'd prefer it if the ones I like and got attached to stay alive. Why kill everyone off? I thought this was Runescape, not...Lost (one of those shows where everyone dies).

• Zamorak revealed his arrogant, proud side in this quest. He gloated about genociding the Aviansie to Armadyl, causing Armadyl to want to scream in anger.

That was just him taunting Armadyl. Did you see the conversation between the two? He showed the cold hard truth down Armadyl's throat. The truth of who really is to blame for that almost extinction.
NO
I do not ship ZamorakxZaros.
I follow them. And Marimbo, the best t5 god.

I bet that it was when Guthix used the Edicts and caused Jas to starve of anima. So when the Catalyst was nabbed she ordered the only one who really dont have a stake between her unwanted sister's child and the upstart Mahjarrat to provoke a confrontation between all sides. Once he had the catalyst retrieved she ordered the death of the false user since the regular option is not usable on Guthix

Good news! Post quest dialogue with Saradomin shows that Seren returned the child back to the father :D

Player: "And your daughter? You have a daughter?"

Saradomin: "Yes she...she is all that really matters to me...she means everything to me. I wish she could see that. She is safe now, my beautiful Adrasteia. "

Only if you raced Saradomin during the quest would you learn about the daughter. If you raced someone else, you would have never known the daughter's existence.
I submissively obey Lady Seren's every whim and relish every waking moment willingly serving her. She is my mistress and I am nothing without her. I am without thought, self-awareness, and being without her. She is my everything.
