* Seren encourages Saradomin to drop out of the race to ensure a more peaceful result. You don’t need me to tell you how that conversation ended.

* Not my play through but a friend encountered Armadyl and Saradomin fighting over a Dragonkin. Saradomin wanted to kill it there and then but Armadyl believes the race can be restored to its former selfs, seeing himself as proof people can change.

* Armadyl was malting during the maze section. Little in that other than Aviansie malt unless they ascend.

* Saradomin and Zamorak had a slanging match. Saradomin threatened to bear Zamorak, who laughed that he didn’t have to kill Saradomin, just delay him until someone else got the stone because whoever did would turn against Saradomin.

It is interesting how you got to hear about Saradomin’s daughter. For the most part, Saradomin was very confrontational in my (fairly neutral to him) run of the quest - aggressive against Zamorak (duh), hostile to Seren (fairly predictable response to being asked to drop out) and his early answers about Brassica & Marimbo wouldn’t have endeared him to their fans. He seems to have come off worst from this quest.

EDIT - *Almost forgot, Zaros and Zamorak met up. Zamorak pondered “finishing the rebellion” but decided against it saying he has proven time and again to be a better leader than Zaros. Zaros is glad Zamorak is living up to his potential but warns him to keep his rage in check. Zaros’s loyalty starts to effect Zamorak who almost calls him my lord but Zaros promises to not abuse Zamorak’s position.

I thought all the comments made on Brassica and Marimbo were very insightful and true to the characters. Saradomin just took them as jokes/disgraces, Armadyl was more contemplative about them, whereas Zamorak thoroughly thought through the consequences of Brassica's proposed power...

amusing.

I'm curious how Vorago fit through that maze though. No one's mentioned him as far as I'm aware.

If you beat Armadyl to the halfway point, Zamorak keeps his troops. When Zammy see's Seren, he orders them to kill her, and she basically says to screw off. I encouraged them to worry about Sliske, and Moia agreed with me, but there was also an option to help attack her...

I also say Armadyl apologizing to Vorago for firing the Focus, and Vorago was like "it happened, and I should have killed you," and Arma was like "I'm sorry. It was wrong. I will not do it again" and Vorago was like "if it happens again, I will pwn you" and left.

Oh I don’t disagree that it absolutely is in character, just found it odd that my play of the quest showed him in a pretty bad light wheras it can be discovered he has a daughter being held hostage that he would put before the Stone of Jas. Seems to be one of the biggest divergences.

Zamorak also never came across great in my run through, but his points on Armadyl and Seren at least led to some self reflection that made him look more righteous I suppose.

Never saw Vorago anyway in the Maze nor was it possible to get any of the Gods comment on the Godless.

I got Saradomin and Seren to depart on good terms (game's exact words), and Seren ended up saving his daughter while he gladly handed the Stone over to Seren.

Whereas Zamorak came off as kind of an ass gloating about how it had been a long time since he had burned an avianse.

I think the more friendly you were to a god before the quest influenced how well they were portrayed in the quest.

In other words, "too bad if you get personally attached to any of them, they're all gonna ******* die!"

Feels like one huge middle finger.

But what's canon's canon. And no matter how much I sperg out, it's not gonna change.

On another note, I will be super disappointed if Armadyl doesn't die by getting deep fried and seasoned with 11 secret herbs and spices and then becoming KFA--Kentucky Fried Armadyl.

Also not sure if this was meant to be a reveal or just a shitty portrayal, but in this quest Azzanadra was a humongous asshole to anyone other the Zaros and the WG. Not even insidious, just a straight up asshole. Throwing a tantrum over Zaros' fondness of Char, provoking Zamorak and insulting Moia for being a half-breed.

Kind of jarring compared to how he's always been so respectful when dealing with us.

So anyway at the end of the quest we learned that Sliske's wights are free to do whatever they want, the barrows bros and Linza and probably Akrisae who doesn't even appear in the quest, chose to stay in the barrows but there is one wight we have no knowledge of after the quest..... Nomad, he is basically free again to do whatever he wants :P

Well what's important to know, it's pretty obvious all the gods will die, however that doesn't mean they'll die tomorrow. Those forseen deaths could be thousands of years in the future as far as you know.
