Looks like in the recent stream, we'll be getting DoC2 next year and they're talking about world events again (see sig). 2018 is going to be quite the good year for 8 of the 9 factions. "Your god's dead next time he's in a world event. "

I'm not going to buy a bond to see Evil Dave say DELICIOUSLY EVIL things in all caps, sorry :P (I don't have money ingame either)

Although I must be honest, I'd throw all my money at Jagex for a Saradomin vs Armadyl world event.
I'm too Unaligned to have a forum signature.

"Deliciously evil" you say...
It all makes sense, what would Dave find more evil than eating vegetables?!
He never really worshipped Zamorak he was a loyal spy of Brassica Prime!
He was attempting to infiltrate Zamorak's inner circle and convince them all of the power of deliciousness!

For a god and a leader, seems Zimzam doesn't hold much power at all then, if he can't do that.

Why do you say that?

Because, Gorajo aside, they're all Birach's minions and Zamorak should have authority over them.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

I find it odd that it specifically mentions they're loyal to Bilrach, not Zamorak.

If Bilrach wanted he could topple Zamorak and replace him, but he's a bit too absent for that I think.

They respond to power. That's how Bilrach gained dominion over them to begin with. So long as Zamorak doesn't limit them in any way, they will gladly follow him over Bilrach.

They were all Bilrach's minions, and even then, the vast majority of them had no idea who Bilrach was, from what I can tell. Many of them have since gone mad, or forgotten what they were doing there to begin with.

I doubt the majority of people working at Microsoft know who their CEO is...your point?

Bilrach has been gone for a very long time, many of them have gone insane, and many of them were only tenuously loyal to Bilrach at the best of times.

EDIT: I may be misremembering when Bilrach left. Thought it was 4th Age?

EDIT 2: Yeah, okay, from what I can tell from a (very brief) look at the wikia, I was misremembering; there's no clear date attached, and what we do have suggests year 169 of the Fifth Age. Ignore me!
