I doubt the Queen of Ashes is Elidinis, since she wouldn't have difficulty locating Gielinor, and Jagex seem reluctant to use Elidinis until the Desert series is finished, which is why she hasn't returned yet.

Also, I get the feeling that Temekel wasn't truly alive when Bilrach encountered him in his letter, judging by how oddly he acted. It was probably the Kharid-Ib speaking through him. We know from Diamond in the Rough that it's sentient and capable of that.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

Bilrach's letter was interesting for what we learned about Temekel. Actually, come to think of it, Temekel's only other mention was in Bilrach's memory.

Interesting point to raise :D

Are you suggesting Bilrach has a bit of a man-crush on Temekel? Re-reading his letter Bilrach does seem to depict Bilrach fawning over the guy lol. "something something Temekel could crush him with just his mind".

Or perhaps, the fact that only one person, one person who did later demonstrate mental instability, writes of this "Temekel"... One person who has come into contact with the reality warping powers of multiple gods (Tumeken, Zamorak)...

...Perhaps that suggests something else entirely.

Maybe just a little bit. ;)

But more seriously, I do like the idea of the Mahjarrat having their own Sixth Age pillar, but I know people think they're overdone. If anything, I'd rather have give each Mahjarrat their own story while also blending it in with another ongoing story. For example, while I would like the Mahjarrat and Desert stories to intersect, the Desert does have its own story, so it would be unfair to hijack it for the sake of the Mahjarrat. Perhaps Bilrach could focus on the Kharid-ib? Something like Bilrach and Ozan are both racing to find the Kharid-ib for their own reasons.

I would agree with half of that, I guess

when he still has his head, I'd say there's nothing stopping him from still being him... he's just devoted to Tumeken, and Bilrach implies that's common knowledge, so it's unlikely Tumeken hijacked a mahjarrat for himself
when he... doesn't have a head anymore, I feel like the gem thing is speaking through him. The mahjarrat there seemed pretty sure that decapitating a mahjarrat meant it would be pretty dead

The Mahjarrat have no souls, and therefore no afterlife, so I find it hard for Temekel to have been revived. Maybe the Kharid-ib has some loophole around the nature of the Mahjarrat, like it gave Temekel a soul?

The Kharid-Ib wouldn't have needed Temekel's soul, just the empty husk that was formerly his body.

if you're responding to me, I didn't mean he was revived by Tumeken, just that his skull temporarily was, to give a last message. Or maybe temekel is just *that* powerful

saying the mahjarrat have no souls would mean they're robots...
they do have souls, they're just different from normal people's souls

I will say one word.
Amnesia
Can gods get it?

"The Gods do not forget"- Icthlarin.

Although maybe if her hysteria was that great it could of induced some mental episode.

Seren is somewhat a representation of this, but she destroyed herself, not exactly amnesia as a whole.
