Well, it's certainly a good thing that there's no entity like THAT , especially not one that would love to have greater power over (un)death.

Especially not one that the quest shows is already in the underworld .

You dun fucked up, Nomad.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

Oh it pretty much has to happen with Robert eventually, so I don't think it's a pointless discussion (even then, we have tons of those). I mean, the main reason it popped up here was because of the possibility it could happen with Xau-Tak's story (though I seriously doubt it).
Actually they said on the Lore Corner they weren't planning to do any time-travel shenanigans with Robert's story, I do believe?

How would you even do that?

He literally leaves a note for us to give to himself when he's human that tells him how to even get to Kethsi in the first place (otherwise he'd already know about DIRAKS).

He even seems to tell himself to put DIRAKS on his collar in the first place (not to mention what appears to be instructions for his reincarnation).

I mean even if we somehow turn Bob back into a human, he still somehow knew a lot about future events that hints at some time-based shenanigans.

Is there a possible relationship between Xau-Tak and the Slug queen? Was it a attempt to take over the Gielinorians? Note that Karamthulhu, that might be related to Xau-Tak are sometimes obtained while fishing for slugs during the Rum Deal quest. Was mother Mallum an attempt to take over the inhabitats of Gielinor? This also might further increase the whole Bandos-Theory, since in witchaven dungeon (Mallums prison), hobgoblins and ogres are found, both Bandosians, who might have been stationised there once in order to prevent people from opening the lair again. Mother Mallum is also known as Mahey'ish Medron, does that sound Xau-Takish?

Also in rocking out a Karamthulhu is found, with the text lord of the blue abyss, clearly something Xau-Tak in here.

I just read the whole Xau-Tak in Bandosian afterlife theory, what if Xau-Tak is somehow searching for revenge on Bandos and then took a little control over his afterlife? EXP is not important, it's important to have fun and play with your friends. :) - Lopendebank3

I suspect Mallum is a creature of Xau-Tak. A very lowly one.

Yet she still managed to dominate other worlds before she entered Gielinor and was squished as a result.

Now he's sending his Ambassador, something with real power. Perhaps even beyond Telos. Yet still just an Ambassador.

I'm not sure. A few years back when the MahMem came out Mod Jack made a post that he implied that Mother Mallum was a cthonian, but wanted to leave it open for other developers.

Since Mod Wilson has been developing Xua-Tak for years before that then there was a period where Mother Mallum, at least in developer eyes, was unconnected to Xua-Tak.

Of course all this is subject to change, but if Mother Mallum is indeed related to Xua-Tak, then this would be a relatively new developmental direction.

Really, of Demonkind? I don't see that in her at all, even comparing her to Senecianus, she seems very comparable to a slug, not a random array of appendages.

They're also immensely difficult to kill, she died rather...well, as we all know pathetically easy and smushed.

I can't see a slug like creature coming from the boiling pits of hell that is Infernus.

Oh? So he leaves us a note, okay. Let's look at the start of that note.

Dear adventurer,
Welcome to Kethsi. I'm sorry that I have no means of knowing your name.

So we went back in time with him... but he has no means of knowing our name? Seems legit.

Not really all that much of a stretch if I am honest. 2 of 3 options during TLW have us not ever tell Guthix our name, and we are never even given a chance to tell Haluned our name. Heck even in Meeting History, our name only ever comes up in the post-quest dialogue about naming Herblore (and we never actually explained that it was out name).

Cthonian? If that is the case, it would props be related to a abbysal leech, however I still think she would be a perfect minion of Xau-Tak. "Seas rise, nations fall" and the queen of slugs can surely let nations fall.
