And here I am waiting for some Queen Of Ashes lore. Because I'm a pyromaniac and she sounds really awesome! On topic anyone else wonder what he looks like? I imagine him looking like the Gravemind from Halo.

I couldn't help but notice there've been at least three variations on Xau-Tak's ominous message of ominous doom. Is it random for everyone, or did they simply misremember the quote when it came to randomly hinting?

Odd, considering the diary is set in the 2nd age. (Because the Asylum is active in the diary)

agreed, I loved this part. This was much better than the Nomad's Elegy version I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.
Just a boy who had to sing this song.

The best part of that line? Xau is seemingly talking to us via the words of a sailor that were recorded in the 2nd age about the events that were happening during the quest. Dude's got some seriously good premonitions.

Well, we've already seen others being able to seer into the future, just not to such an extent. So from the time of our birth, we could have been led to events that would aid Xau-Tak and could ultimately be us that unleashes Xau-Tak on Gielinor. To which would be another mistake we'll need to correct of course.

I'll write up more thoughts later, but for now, I'll just say this.

Sliske's master isn't Xau-Tak. Stop suggesting it. Think about it logically, Osborne would never let that happen. You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
