Both he and Seren were never mortals, so I suppose they are the Two True Gods? :P

And wasn't the whole "one true god" schtick done by Saradomin?

EDIT: Nevermind, it was said by Pad*menes - the NPC, not the Saradominist fanatic.

Wait.

I mean the Saradominist fanatic in the LORE forums.

You forget that, to the Certain Zarosians, Seren might as well not exist. The only time I ever see them bring her up is usually when they're comparing her to Saradomin.

And Certain Saradominists call everyone else evil.

And a Certain Serenist loves to hate on Saradomin.

Need I go on about the fanatics? Lore should be discussed by lorehounds, not god fanboys.

Meh Fal** wants to instigate and ignore certain people due to his own prejudices against them for whatever reasons he has. He will only agree with certain individuals.

You mean people tend to agree with those who share their worldview? ASTONISHING!

It's almost like, everyone does that!

Maybe if everyone opened up a little from their little faction shell, we wouldn't even be having this discussion!

No that's not what I mean at all. It has little to do with the content of the post if he agrees with them.

I think you missed the memo where "Certain Zarosians" only pertained to Paladin, Lethalintent, and Unicornz. We're trying to test run collective names for them so we don't have to keep calling them by their individual names when we talk about the people who are trying to start trouble for the sake of starting trouble. "Doucekateers" didn't sound very good and I keep thinking calling them the "Brat Pack" is an insult to the actual Brat Pack (even though it's always the first choice of what I want to call them). I'm sorry if you took offense to me calling them the "Certain Zarosians", though.

The problem with "Certain Zarosians" is it is very vague and left to the interpretation of the reader, since there is no official meaning of "Certain Zarosians" yet - which makes non-Certain Zarosian Zarosians feel targeted and then become more aggressive in their attacks against you.

Just call them Palethalcorn.

The Three Stooges actually sounds nice. PLU might work, too.

EDIT: Actually, if I remember right, The Three Stooges was already used once and they made it lose all meaning by fighting over which stooge they were.

I don't think it'll surprise anyone, but remember when CD_Paladin_C said he was going to ask Mod Stu why Saradomin said "You dare defy a god? I shall not be denied!" if he was simply angry that you were wasting his time in resurrecting Owen? We have Mod Stu's official answer now:

"He lost his cool and succumbed to pride and anger in a crisis. It was intended to show his lingering human flaws, how he has come to identify more as a god than a human over the centuries, and that godly power in mortal hands is dangerous."

As a side note, who here thinks the Certain Zarosians are going to take that last bit entirely out of context and use it as a platform for saying Zaros is the OTG simply because he's not "technically" a mortal?

As if this were surprising.

On a side note, I do think Saradomin is proud of his human origins, but has understood pretty well he has god-like responsabilities and he will make the World Guardian know this clearly.

But I'm really just hoping to talk to Saradomin soon. The whole Great Protector, Order (as a meams for Progress probably), Wisdom, Justice and what not seem great but I'm hoping for a deeper philosophy that justifies all that, something superior to ' true god here", which is all fine and dandy for Saradominists, but could be worked out in a structure that both encompasses ans gives validity to all I've listed above. Maybe a sort of superestructure. You'd think with so many monks and a religious folk around contemplating and meditating they would have comed up with a book or a consensus about it.

In fact, this could fit as a great update: the details and explanations of his philosophy on a sacred book. This must be easier than making Saradomin explain it for himself. I guess this could be done for other gods to.

As for Saradomin, they could just finish up one of those many.books thst supposedly refer to him (Book of Light comes to mind).
