I actually like the new model, it fits his character more. The TWW model seemed too sagelike, and didn't really radiate the particular brand of arrogance unique to Smurfledoughmandore.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.
I agree with Bastia. The new model looks a lot more blocky and less detailed than the old one. That said, the new one does have merit in that it makes Saradomin seem less like a frail old man and more like a protector-king.

The old model displayed Saradomin's traits much better in my opinion.
Although, it could just be the general lack of detail on the new one.
I have to agree with Falco that his new looks might just look closer to what Jagex expects to portray.
The new robes make him looks more kingly. (-The crown looks like it's made of brass-)
I disagree. The old model fit his Fifth Age persona well (white beard, long hair, flowing robes, slight build, etc.), since he was built up to be more of a wise, goody-two-shoes sage sort of god. But now, Sixth Age Saradomin is, as Falcoshin says, a protector-king. If they kept the old model it would've looked out of place.

Now, Saradomin looks very bland. He looks like a cake with icing (his beard). His last one made him look godly, mysterious and powerful. Now he looks like a rich king.

A more detailed model for the sequel of DoC would be ideal.
Or for Saradomin's next appearance. (If it's before the sequel).

Zamorak also has little to no detail. Though its probably because he lost power. Armadyl too, is a little bland, but it fits him.
