Thanks! I'm not going to check it out unless Aquamancer posts here (which I thought he would after he told me about it), but I have managed to work out that the text under 'Menaphos' on the header says "the golden city"
What I'm curious about though is - where was all this text in game we were supposed to work out? Menaphite in game seems to be almost all heiroglyph-based. What is that image from?
lemme see if I can work it out just from 'golden city'
THE LEGEND OF THE GOLDEN PATH
THE GOLDEN CITY OF MENAPHOS STANDS TODAY AS IT
HAS FOR GENERATIONS: RESPLENDENT, AFFLUENT
AND PROSPEROUS.
BUT BENEATH THE SURFACE LIES CORRUPTION, DECAY
AND DESTRUCTION. THE PHAROAH GROWS RICHER,
WHILE THE POOR OF NEARBY SOPHANEM ROT IN
DITCHES. MENAPHOS'S FOUR DISTRICTS ARE RULED
BY FOUR LEADERS - A COMMANDER, ADMIRAL, WORKER, AND
GRAND VIZIER - EACH IN SOME WAY COMPLICIT IN
THE CITI'S DESOLATION
boy howdy, just give you a few letters and you can work out the rest. Where was this text in game all this time?

The image is from a link they shared during the stream, I think it's become a subpage for the Menaphos site now. As for the writing, Aquamancer found some on the sundials (meaningless), Apmeken and Scabaras' tombs (just initials for the gods I believe), and the word "War" is written between the pictures of Amascut and Icthlarin.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
So yeah, using the new sentences in Desert scripture in Menaphos teaser trailer as the cracking code, I managed to transcribe the Desert scripture, although most people have already covered it: not only that, but I discovered Menaphos ARG. It's been a busy day, I can tell you that much.

The letters in sundials were in the alphabetical order, and they, in combination with the letters from the crypts might've been initially been meant to be the way to translate the text.
Also, the weights in Al Kharid Palace, in which the Kharid-Ib was hidden, spell "TMKN HEARS". This basically confirms what we have been speculating for a long time: the Kharid-Ib is Tumeken (or what is left of him), and he is still conscious as the diamond. I haven't found the scripture anywhere else, so if anyone else finds texts in it, I'd be glad to translate it.
Also, before you ask if I had a chart of every Kharidian letter and their meaning, yes, I had a rough one I used to translate the Kharid-Ib weights and the Legend of the Golden Path, but I deleted it once I finished the translations. I suppose I could try to make a Kharidian-Roman alphabet comparison text later, though I'd appreciate if other people would do that: by this point, with all the direct translations, it's not even particularly difficult.
Bump to revive this thread! But a bump with a purpose!
Anyhow, I noticed this sign above the Lumbridge General Store and was shocked to not see it already in the thread. Lumbridge should be in an area were Common language and the Common Script are ... common ... , however this very conspicuous sign does not use the Common Script at all.
The first and last "characters" (or maybe they are words) do appear to be mirror images of each other, so they are likely just flourishes, but the middle character or word is unlikely to be decorative.
What could this be (besides an effort to reduce the localization and modeling teams' workload)? Is it possible that Al-Kharid and Lumbridge are so close that a sort of Menaphite cursive (kind of like present day Arabic script is sort of a cursive Aramaic) is more common than Common?
And just for the sake of completeness:

There's an entirely new script in the City of Senntisten, and it has deep and important ties to other game lore. You'll find it in bands of gold on the local buildings, and in far more secretive and mysterious uses.
[Graphics] Drivers Wanted.
Looking at the Occult script, it looks almost like hangul (korean).
