Changing topic for a moment, let's consider the possible implications of The World Wakes on Morytania and the world in general. Here's the quest description so far.

"The original resting place of Guthix. Sought by treasure hunters and historians alike for hundreds of years, its discovery will shake the very core of Gielinor. But how will you choose to progress through it? It’s packed full of choices and the path that you take will have world-shaking consequences. Huge amounts of history and the story of the Guardians of Guthix can be found, as well as direct contact with some of RuneScape's most powerful characters."

What will we be changing, exactly? The balance of power between the competing political kingdoms (e.g. Morytania vs Misthalin) or the gods themselves? How will this impact on the Myreque storyline, if indeed it does?

Has anybody been running around Morytania lately? If so the shadowey figure might indicate something to do with the quest. I will point out it looks very likely the edicts and therefore maybe the conspirators will play a role in this quest.

The Teaser Pics are amazing. Judging from what Kharshai said I reckon the balance between the gods will be changing. I don't see it impacting Myreque too much at least initially.

I'm afraid I barely touch RuneScape these days, so I don't know if he's lurking around Morytania or not.

Having said that, where would he go out of interest? The Vampyres would probably pick up on his presence pretty quickly if he were to wander near Castle Drakan. On the other hand, he might be pursuing Drakan if he's gone abroad.

I think my heart will burst out of my chest if we see Drakan in TWW.

I suppose the Myreque could get involved through the conspirators, but it seems that the Myreque and the Vyres are fighting their own war outside of the power plays of the Gods. However, I doubt Mod Ana could resist the temptation to get the Vyres involved on some level. The BoD requirement leads me to think that Drakan will be involved in a way that will heavily influence Vanseculas plans.

I also wonder if we will have to complete The World Wakes in order to finish the Myreque series. What if we do meet Drakan during TWW yet kill him at the end of the Myreque series, for example? What happens during TWW could gives us clues as to what will happen once the Myreque series is over.

I don't see the vyres or the myreque or stuff being involved. Maybe Drakan but idk. However definately the conspirators. BoD could simply be because of an area or something.

I think I found something terrible though. There are Guthix symbols everywhere in the quest. On Fiara's head, on the Wildy Sword (we knew that one), on these weird new creatures. The lore given to us in the FAQ of the TOG graphical rework clearly states Juna created the symbol due to her dedication and other Guthixians copied it and that Guthix has no true symbol. Why then would Fiara, the wildy sword and these creatures bear this symbol?

I expect a good reason for this by the time I am done the quest either through the quest or the FAQ.

A giant snake made Guthix's symbol, and her name is Juna, IF THAT IS HER REAL NAME.

*shines lamp over snake*

Where were you when Guthix created Gielinor!?

Ssssssss.

Answer me, slithering reptile!

Ssssssss.

Dude, that's just a snake. Snakes can't speak.

Shut up! I'm not crazy! All animals can speak, and penguins are evil!

SsssssssHAAAAAAACK!

AHHHH! Get this snake off me!

*rips snake off guy who thinks I'm crazy*

Great, look what your stupid snake did to me!

Quiet. It made marks. They must indicate a message.

Yeah, and that message says you're messed up like Melzar. I'm out-

*knocks guy out to study snake bites*

You need to add Calsidui to your list of Myreque leaders. Hes only been mentioned once in the very first quest of the storyline, but hes supposed to be the "head Guy" of both the Myre order and the Merditch order.

Its possible that Juna created the symbol and it then caught on, it doesn't say when she did it. She could have created it in the early third age, then Guthix placed the symbol on the sword so that it would be recognized and feared
