Balustan, I couldn't find the reference for Drakan looking for the Stone, but I did come across a few other items of interest.
• Definitely. 'Soon' may be optimistic, as we have big plans for *Runescape} story in the next month or so, but I plan to drop a huge tome on you all. It's about time there was an official history of RuneScape. Which reminds me, look out for a motion comic that will summarise a lot of the story in three lovely minutes.
• Definitely, yes, absolutely. Kharshai, Sliske, Azzanadra - I have plans for most of the Mahjarrat in 2013.
• No plans that I'm aware of. No. Perhaps - actually, yes. Demigods would have to do something tremendous to be affected by the Edicts @@@(if the Edicts exist at all).@@@
• So, something juicy: our next quest introduces not one but TWO new guardians of Guthix [one already existing ingame who also likes stories]. And possibly even a visit from Nex...
• Yep. My favourite god is not currently a god. But they will be. And they will be thoroughly, absolutely amazing
1. This might finally clear up the murky history of Morytania, but personally I would prefer to piece together the past in the remaining Myreque quests, especially if some of the details prove to be surprising.
2. Although Mod Ana made it clear that she wanted the Myreque storyline to stand alone (and, in my opinion, rightfully so), we shouldn't rule out the possibility that her favourite Mahjarrat, Sliske, will be involved in the future.
3. I think someone else on this thread has already mentioned the possibility that the Edicts are a myth. Given that Mod Ana has expressed her frustration at the Edicts' existence, it would make perfect sense for them to be just myths. That way, they still have the pacifying effect on the competing factions as long as they simply believe that they exist. If they are broken, the game won't blue screen because Guthix won't actually wipe out Gielinor!
