Keep in mind that the working timeline wasn't created from an untrained account perspective, and quest difficulty was a very low priority when it came to designing it, for the most noticeable example, Troll Stronghold and Troll Romance would be extremely difficult at low levels due to the combat in it.

I would suggest looking over it closely and tweaking some things first.

And posting the tweaks here for others intending to use it. :P

Yeah I'm very slowly moving through something similar to the timeline on my new account (I'll update more when Iron Man comes out)

- Tutorial
The Blood Pact
Demon Slayer
A Shadow Over Ashdale
- Obtain Pathfinder armour. Tutorial complete!

- Troll Warzone
Let Them Eat Pie
Wolf Whistle
Druidic Ritual
Death Plateau (including delivery runs afterwards)
- the adventurer then explores beyond the walls of Taverley..

What's Mine Is Yours and Goblin Diplomacy are certainly started now, but there's a lot of travel involved in these quests (compared to previous ones) so other quests may be picked up along the way. I'll update this as I progress, but so far I think Song From the Depths and Ernest the Chicken should be in the middle of this lot.

That seems like a good alternate start, I would suggest others intending to use this do something similar to that, else, you'd be training a lot of combat and agility just to do like the 5th quest in the timeline. :P You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

Interesting, I wasnt aware of that one. I'll be sure to keep that in mind along with making history -> tower of life and other new ones. You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

Soo Broken Home.. given its proximity to MPD and reference to 5th Age being old (though it was admittedly a very early 5th Age vintage) I'd like to think it occurred just before MPD. Its references to Senntisten and references to demons however suggest it could be even after the Mahjarrat Memories miniquest.

I haven't repeated the quest yet, and probably won't for some time (don't really have the time at the moment) but what is the lore reason for us being able to repeat the quest?

Also I'm personally considering the Halloween event, as with all previous seasonal events (minus Tribute to Guthix and World Events) to be non-canon, due to the excess of loreholes.

Edit; just realised this thread is almost a year old! Kind of disappointed at how little attention it's got to be honest, I really like it.

Heart of Stone.. regardless of our thoughts on the quest, it did happen. Presumably pre-Fate of the Gods, due to our lack of knowledge of the Elders (just TELL Xenia and Ariane about the Great Revision!)

I want to put it after One of a Kind and before or perhaps during Mahjarrat Memories.. would make sense to also occur after Bandos' death as well, though before The Mighty Fall
